Awesome! The support/seat looks great! So does the paint! Maybe put a round flat piece of metal over where the seat post used to go to prevent water from getting in and rusting. You can also get some BMX style handlebars to make it more comfortable to ride. Good video!

Awesome build. You had me laughing out loud when you said "I cut out these little triangles and I'm going to weld it". I guess having a background in fabrication made me snobishly take terminology for granted. For future reference those "little triangles" are called gussets or gusset plates. Your buggy video brought me here. Keep having fun with these builds and thanks for the inspiration 🤘

Vasily Custom Builds if you can go to a steel mill company you can get a 20 or 25 ft piece for a 5 or 10 ft piece. for the same price roughly and they have every kind of metal imaginable. Tell them you'll put them on a KZbin video after they give you the price and you might be able to get a bigger discount or get some for free. Tell them you're a young man new into metal fabrication and customization and how many years you been in it. I found a steel mill down the road for me that would sell to the public because a bunch of steel mills closed where I use to buy from. And the steel mill was so much cheaper then Home Depot, Lowe's, Tractor Supply or Rual King. Wholesale prices are so much cheaper than high retail. Also if you can show us how the bike pedals if you still keep the petals on it without the engine on. I think im going to ad a 49cc on a 21 speed bike mountain bike that is. And use propane on it it's easier and last longer especially a big bottle. And I have lots of 20 lb barbecue propane tanks. But I have seen smaller propane tanks for assume littler engines or something. But the average 20 lb BBQ tank holds 4.2 gallons of fuel. Also if you really want to make more power you can use possibly a Sneaky Pete nitrous kit but talk to NOS on what jet size to use. Because I'm use to dealing with bigger Automotive engines with nitrous. But I'm sure some company knows Small Engine nitrous they pretty much do it all. And don't forget to wear your full face helmet chest protector and racing gear ideally.

Cool bike, motor looks good. Yah, painted on a rainy day and the paint absorbed the water some. If that happens again let it dry completely and the fogginess is only on the surface to where you can probably wipe it off, most of the time it works. Saves the trouble of redoing it.But black is the worst where it has a blueish tint to it when it absorbs water.

Your paint came out dull or flat the first time because of the moisture in the air, its whats called blooming. You need to paint in a warmer enviroment, somewhere inside your garage with a heater on.

Don't fear baldys here! your engine won't break in proper at 22:1 run 32:1 4oz per gallon and jet down a couple sizes so it can break in for a tank , then run 40:1 3.2oz per gallon and it should need a even smaller jet at 40:1 , let me know in your next video.

😂 Yeah never got around to mess with the Jets and will run a lesser oil ratio. My batch of cylinders is very poor. The nikasil sleeving is wearing very fast.
@jonsmith2217
@jonsmith2217 5 жыл бұрын
I normally put oil on coffee filters and cover oil on connecting rods with the coffee filters covered in oil around the connecting rod so they don't rust. And I put the connecting rod, oiled coffee filters in Ziploc bags back in the connecting rods box. So the rods will be ready when I build an engine. Well I thought I would use WD-40 in place of oil a year or two later I look at the rods bad choice they had rust spots thank goodness the rust wasn't on the rod journals or I would have had to resize the rods. Your motor should be alright it will get oiled up after you start it up. But if you see the rust later upon teardown I wouldn't use WD-40. I would use transmission fluid or any kind of oil. Also they usually have loaner tool torque wrenches at O'Reilly's and AutoZone and some of the parts stores but there not a quality torque wrench. And some mobile tool trucks like Snap-on have a torque wrench Checker to check the accuracy of the torque on your torque wrench. And it's free to use like on the snap on truck. Luckily I haven't had to rebuild any small engines just big engines and you always use a quality torque wrench. But I have seen some guys don't even use a torque wrench on Little Motors just clamp it. But I would do like you mentioned earlier blue Loctite all the bolts. I don't use blue lock tight on the head bolts or connecting rod bolts or main bolts. but all the other ones I do blue Loctite oil pan, intake, timing cover, exhaust, flywheel Bolts Etc. On big car engines they're not too quick and easy to pull out if needed and it's nothing worse than having to do the job a second time. Also if you want more power to without using nitrous I've used it before nitromethane in my little 110 stock 3-wheeler you just mix it with a fuel but don't let it sit are you will have to dilute it down in order to get it started. Run all the fuel out with a nitromethane when you use it. There's also other fuel additives if you talk to a fuel company or Google it that used to be poly propylene oxide they're all heavier oxygen waited fuels. And in automotive engines you would turn the time and back and run colder plugs just like nitrous supercharger or turbo engines. But on Little Engines you could make sure with a heat gun on a four-stroke for instance check the temperature on the cylinder head and the exhaust pipe with normal gasoline and then mixing fuel. Basically you would want to make sure the cylinder head and the exhaust gas temperatures are not getting too hot or it could fry the little motor. Actually some go-kart racing guys told me there's a cylinder head temperature for Little Engines. Because when I went over to propane and I can put propane on any of my little four-stroke gasoline engines I had to make sure I didn't run it too lean. But they say with propane it's unheard of running too lean. They may even make a electric supercharger for small engines but the downside you have to have 12 volts. I know they do for a 4-cylinder car engine to add a little more power. As I mentioned earlier I want a 21 speed mountain bike with a small 49cc engine just to pull me down the road when I get tired of peddling or in a case of shtf. And I would like to put propane on the 49cc 4-stroke engine so it could run for days on a standard BBQ tank on the back or front of the bike. On a flat rack strapped down with something covering it. But I want my bike to be quiet so they don't ban me from the road because we all know the law does whatever they want. And before long it will be over here in America. electric bikes or motorized bikes will probably have to be plated and taxed like overseas is now. And then before long they'll want insurance on it next. That's why I want it really quiet and no engine or propane tank hopefully showing. And if I drive pretty slow they'll never know it's motorized. Or they might not bother me hopefully. Especially when I take it on trails.

Hey I noticed that when you were welding on the neck that you were welding with your nozzle is about 1/4-1/2inch to far away from the arc if you use argon gas if not then idk but That could be why your welds aren't as good as they could be...

The paint turned out bad because rustoleum paint sucks! I tried a few cans and they suck. Use any other brand rattle cans and you will get better results. Or better yet,get it painted at a bodyshop. Also you should do Goped GSR46 scooter build..they are fast.they can run 50mph stock with just the right gearing. Great vids btw and i did sub and liked your video's as well.keep it up.

Good job man. Ya need to drop the main jet size a bit. All that 4 stroking is from running rich. I just did a bike build myself and had to use a #75 after performance mods. A #80 jet is a little too rich for my build. Before raising and widening all the ports, a #65 was perfect.

Vasily Custom Builds I'm not using the stock carb btw. Im using the motorized bike "racing" carburetor with a flat slide and no needle. Without jetting, that carb still makes the bike rev cleaner than a nt carb.
@jjhack3r
@jjhack3r 6 жыл бұрын
I just did a top speed run and I hit 51 mph on my gps with a 38 tooth sprocket and 26 inch rim. I should be able to hit 60+ mph if I put my 28 tooth sprocket on it but its not worth the loss of torque. Someday I want to make my own bmx motorized bike and set it up with suspension and modle it after a trials bike. A 56 tooth sprocket paired with a 20 inch rim should yield low enough speed for tricks. I probably wont even put an expansion chamber on it so it will be smaller, more durable and have more controllable power delivery.
@VasilyBuilds
