It makes me laugh that Nessa is still considered the strongest gym leader, in a good way, because she is still the gym leader you struggle the most in this simple runs. I LOVED the run you did with her team. Yes, I wanna see a "Can Oleana become champion and finally get her boss to notice her?" XD doesn't have to be that tittle specifically but you know what I mean. I do enjoy this simple runs. Keep them up! n_n

Peony has harness Ultra Mega energy, champion energy and dad energy to push though but… He need focus and rethinking his strategy because things have changed since last time he’s champion and taking care of his daughter. It would make sense he break the rules it says it in his card: “Peony was compared to his brilliant older brother since he was born, causing him to gradually rebel and become a delinquent.” But he’s no Kabu because he’s a man of steel… Now he can reclaim his title of Pheony: Grand Champion of Galar ------------------------ *While watching footage of past championship battle Lillie discover this info* His dialogue in games really shows that he can’t be champion… He’s retire and rusty!!! But still battle for his daughter… "Hey, Chief! I've gotta say--I'm chuffed you chose me! Not sure if I can keep up with a Champ like you, but I'll try not to hold you back! Gahahaaa!" “That first match went off without a hitch! Let's roll right over 'em in round two, too. My darlin' Nia said she'd come watch, so I've gotta make sure she sees her papa at his best” "Remember, Leon--I'm done with the League! Take it easy on us!"

@@Cosidemodo And normally in Pokemon games it's quite easy to just sweep all of the game with your starter being the one doing all of the battling with 1 or 2 pokemon just for the HMs or double battles with them immediately dying.

I'd say Aron was a good choice. Looking at Peony's team though, he seems to use Aggron just as often as a secondary ace compared to his main ace/1st-starter pokemon copperajah

With Pokemon gym Challenges both the trainers and the gym leaders get a chance to become champion. As it also doubles as a way for trainers to be scouted for Gym leaders in later circuits and professions. Main example in Galar is Opel and Piers being replaced by Bede and Marnie respectively.

In terms of Regional Dexes, the Galar Gym Leaders have some pretty serious powerhouses. Like, I've been looking at Nessa's Team and with a bit more leeway her gym team could've easily been Damp Rock Drizzle Pelipper, Swift Swim Gigantamax Drednaw, and Eviolite Mareanie / Rindo Berry Quagsire had the developers chose to pull a Brilliant Diamond / Shining Pearl instead. And considering Gordie has quite the threatening party of Rock Pokemon... I believe in his strength a bit more than Melony's when her Darmanitan is down for the count. -- Lately, I've been remaking Gym Leader/E4 + Champion Teams on Showdown (with special rules) to get a feel of what it's like being them against my server and...by giving challengers a League Registration Rotation of 10 and forcing parties to be the same per gym battle (like how the anime tended to do things) I can confidently say it definitely is a lot harder than it seems to become League Champion. Like sure, getting all 8 badges is one thing, but then you have to either survive a Single Elimination Tournament or Victory Road if naught the path to it, and then hope whoever comes next before the Champion doesn't body you and send you into Next Year.

I always wonder if these trainers had different pokemon when they did the circuit, but I know it's if they can do current day Galar. (Without challenge rules technically any can but, the way you do it is way more entertaining)

Honestly, I like all these ideas, but my next idea after all this is a “Could Guzma become Champion in Galar” video or a “Could Guzma become Alola’s first Champion” video in Pokémon USUM. But it’s just an idea and I think I’d like to see Bea, Melony, or Gordie for this series right now. Good luck putting these videos together.

It's hilarious watching so many challenge videos of not only you but other people in other games and always ALWAYS early gym leaders are the toughest because level caps.. GF needs to make a game that won't be a pain if you wanna be on par with gym leaders XD like it's weird that of all things, most times purely being on/around levels of gym leaders raises the difficulty so much, sometimes more than it should.. like it's not just a monotype challenge that causes issues i've had balanced teams on par and still struggle with bosses The wild area is weirdly laid out.. i heavy agree with how Giant's Seat shouldn't have "strong-looking" pokemon while Bridge Field can have okay-ish pokemon.. like people have horror stories of the Onix but my dumbass found the STEELIX in Giant's Seat on my first romp and shit my pants Like seriously I combed the entire Wild Area (up until the Bridge to Bridge Field since I could tell it was probably gonna be too much, and assumed I would of been stopped anyways) my first time and.. a very small portion is actually what you are "intended" to explore.. legit I think they want you to pass through it straight without detours and come back when you level up a bit.. but.. umm.. first open-world-ish area in a pokemon game? Of course we gonna explore it.. but ya sure make my level 7-8 Starter insufficient when all I did was turn left instead of right from the Meeting Area...
