I just enjoy watching medical videos and you are by far the greatest at explaining everything. I love the analogies and your enthusiasm. Thank you!

Doctor, I hope you will answer my wish in life. I know the cause of my headache and I will be cured. I left my school, my job, and my social life because of a headache. No one knows the cause. My wish in life. I have a headache that has not stopped for a minute for a long time. The right side is more than the left, and the eyes. Sometimes the same strength, and it becomes less and less strong, and it affects the neck, chest muscles, and back, and causes muscle strangulation. It is not the lung pain, pain and numbness in the head, hands and chest that is as strong as a headache and high blood pressure 19-11, and what is brought down by blood pressure pills and muscle relaxants is brought down by stuttering. Thank you.

Your video is super useful. But i'm little bit confused. As vasodilation then more amount of blood get to the heart lead to more blood in right ventricle, but i've read a book said that vasodilation in vein result in decreasing amount of blood returning to vein and decreasing pressure putting on right ventricle. Isn't it contraversal, is it? Could u help me clarify this issue? Many thanks

Hi! Hoping to get some answers here. I'm a 32 year old male and I was recently put on stimulants for adhd (methylphenidate) but I quickly noticed issues with impotence on it so I stopped (after just a week of taking them). However I still feel the effects in terms of less than 100% performance in erection as well as in muscle performance overall. My genitals in general are sort of numb and I have a really hard time flexing and feeling my prostate (if that's what it is you're doing when you tense your groin...). Is it common for stimulants to induce vasoconstriction in such a way and for it to linger this long after having stopped taking them? Would a vasodilator return my state to normal by any chance? To balance it out? I'm contacting a physician in the morning as it doesn't seem to resolve itself. Can it be permanent? Than you so much in advance!

Definitely talk to your physician! I am "just" a physiologist, not a physician. Good luck!
