Why can't you? It's not like there's Ford Police... You can set any pressure you want then train sensors with procedure from my video. By the way 2015 Ford pressure for the rear was 71 lbs. It was shorter van though.

Nice! I knew you could use this method to get it into the learning mode and then use a TPMS tool, but I didn’t know you could just deflate the tire. Good to know.

FYI this method in the video DID NOT work on my 2020 transit when I put on a set of all new tire sensors. However, this method in another video did work to activate the brand new sensors. @@robertotr works with keys too. Doesn’t matter if you have keys or keyless, you just have to cycle the ignition to the run position and back to off when directed. If anything it’s easier with keys.

What if you have spear tire installed on the van? is it possible to connect that sensor to a vehicle or it doesn’t have it?

Spare tire doesn't have sensor inside, so on the dash it will always show that you have a flat tire on that spot

Sadly, while it started the process on my 2023 Maverick XLT hybrid with the one beep, letting most of the air out of the front left never got the truck to beep. I drained it long enough that the truck finally beeped twice. But it was worth a try. Thanks. Fortunately I have a compressor.

On the Amazon CDV 16ft Transits we have this issue. We have to shut the van off at every stop and then have to hit "ok" to clear the tire pressure warning every time we start it back up. It is annoying! Is this how I fix that? Is there a way to completely disable this so it never displays a warning? I need to see my digital speedometer without the hassle of going through warning messages!

I don't think you can somehow disable this option but you definitely can try this method to clear the light. That is of course if you have no issue with tire pressure only sensor acting up. If that will not work you might have faulty sensor.

Don't dally between tires or you will have to start over. Adjust the pressure when you are done.

All 4 of my tires are labeled 51 psi max pressure; the door frame label indicates the rear pressures should be much higher (like yours, mine is a 2020 transit 250). Do I need to put different tires on the rear or is there another way to deal with it? I’m not going to overinflate so far past the tire mfr specs. Thanks

Obviously you have wrong tires on that van. Make sure you have 16C tires

My work Transi has the TPMS light when the tire pressure is just 1lb low. It's so annoying because pressure changes with temperature

2018 Transit, after pressing the hazard and got the flashing, all I did is drove it a few feet and the light went off. Update! My way did not work permanently. The light came back on down the road.

First question is does the vehicle goes into the programming mode?

You would think that on 2022 year model it should be as simple as going just through the menu on the dash, have you tried that?

How do you reset the TPMS on a 2022 Ford Escape? Start the battery on your car, but not the ignition. Locate the TPMS reset button (usually beneath or near the steering wheel), and hold it until the light on the dashboard blinks three times. Release the button, start the ignition, and the light should be off.
