Elio e le Storie Tese pay homage to the song of the same name that Amedeo Minghi and Mietta sung in "Sanremo" festival (in Italian, "Vattene Amore" means "Go away love"). Mietta was the winner in the previous year, in the "new proposals" category! On the stage of the Tam Tam Village, however, Minghi is played by Paolone Feiez and Mietta by Elio... they look the same... right?
As in the best films, the plot is very simple: Amedeo woos Mietta and Mietta responds with a very "particular" refusal! Could all this end up on an album? Should have!!! Instead, nothing, the album "Tarati per il canto" will never be released. What a pity! Anyway, no one has locked Elio e le Storie Tese in jail yet, everything else is ok.
To surround the verbal turpitude, an ORGY of musical quotes: "Torero Camomillo", "44 gatti" and, at the end, "Popoff", all three borrowed from the 1967 and 1968 editions of the "Zecchino d'Oro" fesstival. Furthermore, "Taratarataratatatata" derives from "Canzoni", by Mietta herself, while Amazonia (or Mazzonia?) refers to the interests and healthy virtues of Sting (in Italian, "mazzo" is a big dick!). Finally, we add a long list of Italian comics titles from the 70s ... and not even all porn: "Soldino", "Gigante Grissino", "Maga Magò", "Oltretomba", "Diabolik", "Il Tromba", "2 piu", "Tiramolla" and "Alan Ford". Above all, a standing ovation for the "Ifix tcen tcen": with that phrase, in the comic "Supersex", the legendary porn actor Gabriel Pontello could bend every woman to his will and then trigger the "erotic fluid" (I remind you that we are in a respectable location, we cannot write bad words!).

È la canzone che hanno suonato di più, in quegli anni, all'interno del filone antiSanRemo! La prima versione che ho pubblicato è tratta dal live a villa Emo a Fanzolo di Vedelago del '92, quella in cui Feiez si chiama "Zirio", col fallo di gomma enorme sul palco, all'epoca trasmessa da VideoMusic! La televisione di oggi è differente.
