Vatternrundan 2024 (English)

I cycled up that side of Vattern in 2018, bypassed Hjo, on a tour. Spent two days resting by the lakeside, sleeping on the beach, bivvy bag, blue sky weather. I remember it like yesterday. Sweden is a dream for the outdoorsman.

Agreed, although I had changed my start time from 04:46 to 02:44 because of the forecast of rain and windier conditions after 6 pm. As you can see from raindrops on the camera lens in Motala near the end, that forecast had been correct.

Apologies. The caption for Hjo at 6:45 is wrong. The distance at the rest stop is 173 km. (108 was the distance at that point in miles).
