Ghouls aren't immortal. They're difficult to kill, but they can still die. Three episodes ago, The Ghoul mercy killed his friend when he was turning feral and those other ghouls in that Super Mart.
@caffeinedelusionsАй бұрын
Technically true, but they’re closer to immortal than baseline humans, with regenerative abilities, radiation resistance, extended lifespans/slowed aging, and even some cases of not needing food or water for centuries at a time. ‘Immortal’ might technically be an overstatement, but it’s a fair one under the circumstances.

Also, a new thing I noticed about those raiders after rewatching... they were actually slowly being reformed. If you compare their behavior from first scene (in the cell) to the last scene where they were alive, they were actually huddled together eating food at the table rather than being frenzied and violent. It was kind of bittersweet seeing them be poisoned
@JeffKelly03Ай бұрын
There's an alternate theory to what Thaddeus is becoming, which I won't get into here since I think it might be correct and don't want to potentially spoil things (that may or may not happen). I don't think he actually is turning into a ghoul, and is becoming something else, because ghouls don't regenerate; just think about how the Ghoul had his finger bit off, and he had to sew on Lucy's finger to replace it. That said, the Ghoul HAS been shown getting shot, so Thaddeus still could be turning into a ghoul. But canonically, in the games, regeneration isn't standard ghoul stuff. Just think about how they're all rotting away, for instance.
@thedarkstarr11Ай бұрын
THAT would be an interesting twist, wouldn't it? A friend of mine brought that up as well...I hadn't considered it at first. I like it though. Nice catch, especially if correct.
@andrewdemarco3512Ай бұрын
He sews the finger on and it heals onto him and he can use it, so he did regenerate to some extent as that would not work for a human. In the games ghouls do heal from radiation. The other thing is possible but also that's not normally how that works either, so who knows
@666FallenShadowАй бұрын
well radiation does heal ghouls in the games, try shooting them with a gamma gun in fallout 4 and see what happens and glowing ones can literally resurrect other ghouls by releasing a wave of radiation in the games so technically they do regenerate, they just can't regrow entire body parts whole cloth but Thaddy just regened some wounds so there is still a very distinct possibility he is just a ghoul now. the other option you're hinting at would also be interesting tho . it would be interesting if he just shows up fully transformed at some point randomly in the next seasons and it takes people a while to figure out who he is
@gottagoworkАй бұрын
After the last episode, maybe look up Oxhorn's videos on doing deep dives on the shows lore? There *might* be spoilers for upcoming seasons, but note that it's solely based on speculations supported by game lore.

You fell for the trap, judging good people by their looks and customs that you find strange, instead of their hospitality. I find this especially funny when Americans do this, who are super cult like with their daily pledge of allegiance in school. 13:19 -> 12:55 13:45 ... :S 17:58 Remember in episode 2 when Lucy left Filly with Wilzig and he was claiming that he could grow an entire new foot? x) I love the humor of leaving the dog at a "red rocket". If you know, you know.
@SSewerrrattАй бұрын
because of the first episode we as watchers learn that u cant trust anyone. its understandable why they were judging people on looks, given that the raiders also looked different to the actual vault dwellers
@thomashiggins9320Ай бұрын
Some U.S. schools do the Pledge of Allegiance every day,. but others only do it on special occasions (or not at all). Local school boards make decisions about what goes on in schools, and those vary *a lot* from place to place. The details about how they operate depends on local cultural norms.

The thing about the vault experiments is that every vault’s experiment was different… but about one vault in ten was designated a ‘control vault’, allowed to proceed as publicly intended in order to provide a baseline of comparison for the sociobehavioral experiments conducted in other vaults. When Barb mentioned getting into ‘one of the good Vaults’, she probably meant getting into a Control Vault, if not the management vault she mentioned later… but she knew that if they just bought a Vault residence they’d have a 90% chance of being part of an experimental pool.

I believe it was Norm that poisoned the raiders. In a previous episode he gave them jello, and in the episode the vault dweller he gave the left overs to was the one getting arrested.
@happyslapsgiving5421Ай бұрын
That would imply that Norm tried to kill her too. No, to kill her *instead* of the prisoners. 😂 No. The previous time, when Norm brought the jello, it was clean. That's why he had no problem giving it to her rather than the prisoners. The time it was poisoned, he wasn't even involved. He didn't even know about it until he saw the bodies. Betty said that somebody did it because Norm proposed the idea. Not to blame Norm. To defuse suspicion. In reality, it's pretty obvious it was her, pirate girl or, most likely, both. 😉
