Liked the look of the Adam when I was looking for a small car, would have gone for the Adam Sport 1.4 tsrbo which you didn't mention they also have the Adam Rocks and Adam Rocks Air which gives you a folding Sun roof chunky wheel arches and 5 blade like wheels.

In addition, these were largely hand-built in low volume, so the manufacturing is also unusual.

The 10 year guarantee, only for the first owner, seems to be a bit of a scam to me! How many first owners keep their new car for 10 years - one out of 100 maybe? I would love to know the actual statistics of ownership!! But it's a nice looking car and I would love to have a drive in one. If satisfied, I would be looking to buy a previously used Adam. A good informative video, as always from Car and Driving.

Love the Adam but then I would OK there is only room in the back for a slim magazine, my wife has owned an Adam S for nearly eight years it has 150 BHP and believe me if driven very enthusiastically and get it wrong there is one place you are going A and E I think I should have a reasonable idea as I was a South East Rally Champion in my younger days I have been fortunate to have a Tickford Capri an RS1600i Escort an Opel Ascona 400 and an HS Chevette and it is probably quicker than all of them also my rally Chevette and I dont remember any of them doing 40+ to the gallon and the icing on the cake is our surname is Adams!
