Recently changed the coolant flange on my corsa d 2012 .Tried removing the bolts without removing the ECU and the Battery...snapped the bolt and that became a 5 day job involving removing the ECU and Battery and drlling out the bolt tapping the hole and inserting a helicoil...Lucky to only by the helicoil on amazon for a fiver everything else was freely available😂😂😂

Oh that sounds like it went badly wrong, I managed without removing ECU and battery so sound like you were unlucky :-( Good info though thanks for sharing and glad you eventually got sorted!

@thindo how did you manage to snap the bolt , I’ve got to swap one on my son’s car, now I’m worried .

@@johnraffle5691 Didn't create enough room (Friday job😂😂) I think I had the socket and ratchet at an angle. Once I had enough space and going straight the other two were easy

Can you show us how to use cable tie and circlip on that top hose. Got the same problem. Absolutely terrible clip provided with the hose. Thanks

Any update on that pipe to the header or did you just leave it? and did you solve the vacuum problem? tia

The pipe to the header I ended up replacing though the replacement part wasn't a great fit, unfortunately I went for a bodge with cable ties to keep it secured and it seems to hold! Nothing on vacuum problem, I suspect I'll need to replace the rocker cover that has it integrated but as the car is just coping I'm unsure how much longer I'll keep it running!
