This was annoying. You're not Rowan Atkinson. If you're searching for the Sport in Sports Tourer, take the VXR but I guess you've answered your question yourself. The last thing to mention, the fog lights don't turn on when you turn, that's a Opel and not a Volkswagen. Frontlights have an extra bulb to flash out a 90 degree angle while turning, even the Vectra had that feature.

£20 😱 , my 1.8 vectra is nearly £200 a year !. Cant wait untill the price of these drop down a tad more to what i can afford . No wonder the government keep hitting diesel drivers with high fuel prices, they ain't getting the revenue like they once did lol , and don't give me that tosh about it being all about diesel cars being more environmentally damaging to the environment. They did the same thing to petrol cars ten years ago as everyone one went out and bought diesel cars while the petrol prices were at a high , Now its the other way round . Sales have dropped in petrol cars , so the diesel cars have become the victim , so that the sale of petrol car and dual fule electric car sales can prosper . The diesel car is a victim of its own success, but my last vectra was the 2:0l Turbo diesel and i miss the fule economy i used to get from it , only reason i part exchanged it for the petrol version was i got a good price deal . But i will be going back to diesel with the 1:9 tdi vectra hopefully next year. ( im a big fan of the vectra, but i will will be on the look out for a 2013/14 Insignia maybe later in the year ) .

Jaye Dee Yay! Someone else who’s the fan of the Vectra! I’m still trying to trace our family’s 2006 1.8 Vectra C Exclusiv in Pomegranote Red that was out first brand new car which we had to sell back in 2010. I’ve recently started driving, so hopefully I’ll be able to get it soon - have a rough idea of where it is :)

This blokes beyond annoying. I often stand under my boot lid and press the shut button.... doesn't everyone? Why does every car "reviewer" have to include stupid antics and pretend to be Clarkson? The oil life remaining is actually a good feature. There are some people who have older cars out of service agreements and like to be reminded.

I think the "whisper diesel" is referring to the engine noise not the noise or smoke coming from the exhaust.

Yes, that is right. I wasn't implying the whisper diesel comes from the rear simply comparing how diesels were known for chucking out black smoke and that the noise of them can be heard from the exhaust, but the whisper refers to the lack of clatter from the engine. Perhaps I didn't explain well enough. Perhaps in my defence it was only our 3rd video. Thank you for stopping by.
