Could adjusting the pop pressue of injectors by dropping the pop pressure help using the ve pump?

Yea probably, but it seems to work OK at the moment, might look into it, when I get a spare set of injectors

Does it not run two stage injection like vw tdi's?

Yes they are two stage injectors
