i have a vvc metro, and that weighs like a box of matches, and that would surprise a lot of people. To this day i am pretty sure a kid in a new clio was going to take the piss out of me, trying to show off to his lass. I only found out later when he pulled behind me, at the lights, with eyes as large as sauce pans. Saying "that's not a 1.1s!!" He over took me very sheepishly. For the record the car was still dress up in its 1.1s trim, but all the guts was GTi. Only thing that gave it away was the spoiler. But even then 1.1c metros sometimes had the odd spoiler on. Funny as fuck, shame the thing got to expensive, and parts were starting to get harder to get hold of.

Considering it’s 75 standard that’s mad with just turbo work. With good injectors and head work you’ll be knocking on 170 soon 👍

Cheers 👍 yea it's already had head work and it's got upgraded injectors. I just need to get more fuel from the pump, and it will make hopefully alot more power

Pressure in the exhaust manifold compared to boost pressure would be interesting to know.

Yes I'm going to be installing boost pressure sensors before and after the turbos, aswell as exhaust temperature and a wide band sensor, i need to keep an eye on all of it if I'm going to be adding lots more fuel

when these were about, i seriously recon you would have gotten laughed at playing with a diesel. In the last 20 years diesel tuning is just as popular! I often wonder that the Turbo Diesels are De tuned, due to them giving the petrol counter parts a run for their money. I know that was the story with the Peugeot 306 Dturbos, those wound up a little would give the XSI a run.

Yea your very right, when the nova turbo diesel was launched, it was just as fast as the nova Sr, which some were upset about lol

@@samwel69 yeah Turbo diesels were supposed to be slow, When i switched to the HDI 306, one of the lads i worked with had a 1.0 corsa, and was slating it due to it been a diesel. Funny thing was i happen to come a cross him on a 70mph, caught him up and shot passed him as though he was just standing still. He told my mate about it, My mate replied, its a good bit of kit that, we take the piss out of it been a diesel, but no on said it was slow.
