Im thinking to get a K&N panel air filter for this exact same car, but does it make much of a difference to the sound/performance?

it will help the car breath a little better which is good being a turbo. not much difference if any in sound. you need a open cone filter for induction noise. hope this helps.

Just fitted one to my gtc turbo it dosent sound any different but it does perform a little bit better and cost 52 quid

Where did u get that front grill from?

It was an option on the car called the irmister package, grill and some trim bits inside nothing special, there a th ing company think you can buy the grill direct of them.
