Got to Wickes, buy 20 bags of the cheapest gravel, put the heating and or AC on, reset the trip meter and go for a drive on a set route. Do this on all your road tests for EV vans and provide some real world miles per usable KWH. That would really help people instead of quoting the official numbers that are unachievable in normal use.

If it helps I get 130 in winter, 180 in summer. Roof rack, loaded and no scrimping on the speed/heating

Definitely the first genuinely useful e-van in this size. Can you guys do the sort of real-world range charging and heater tests that Bjorn does? I've not seen anyone doing this for vans. I guess this thing doesn't have a heat pump, which is going to affect winter range?

Tom here: You got it. We're trying to work out how to get these vans on longer loans - when the lockdowns ease, we think this should be much easier to do. :)

I wish someone would do a range test with and without a full load. Everyone spouts mileage figures but they never say whether that's loaded or empty.

I am getting 186miles in winter.But would be better if four rear lights and headlight were led . Plus it's got high rolling resistance tyres. So with a few mods 200miles is possible.

Around 180 ish loaded or unloaded doesn't seem to affect it much unless you were to tow or start loading Ladders on the roof

The battery is a Chinese CTL type with 19 years min and 4million km life. So body will rust before drive train failure

Have been on EV charging course and as long as you have a 3 phase supply ABB manufactor a rapid charger suitable for a business. 100kw in 20mins on d.c . Should get you going for another 80-100 miles

I'd get one but I wouldn't leave myself exposed to the woeful Dealership network. By the way what happens to the range when you have a ton on the back.

We’re talking about the future here yeah entertainment system, the dashboards from something from the early 2000s I get 70 miles in winter. In eco-mode. No heating on absolutely freezing warmer outside This will definitely not be the best selling van in the future. absolutely garbage. when my lease is up, definitely going back to petrol until it improves

Just be aware that the electric sliding side doors aren't standard on either Dynamic or Elite spec - it's an extra £1125 plus VAT to add that option. Bizarrely for an electric van, there's no heated seat or heated steering wheel option! Why?? No vehicle to home option via CCS either yet. Might still buy one though to get the extra range cf my fabulous Nissan env200 24kWh.

Heard Gen-2 2024 will have a much improved range. This is the van I'm waiting for in the US
