I deeply regret not being able to be a "Patreon" as I am an OAP, and can barely survive on my pension, but I wish to thank you for the obvious time and skill you put into your videos. I have been fascinated with guns since I was a child back in the '50s ( my first "toy" gun was a deactivated H&R pistol), but here in Australia collectors' firearms are rare and expensive, so the only opportunity to see the mechanisms and operating systems of my unaffordable interest is via channels like yours, C&Rsenal, Forgotten Weapons and the like; so your work is greatly appreciated ! George: thank you for your comments, but I am not a real weapon historian. I take what others have documented and try to turn them into animations and I rely on the true weapons experts to advise and correct my mistakes (before I publish). But is very interesting doing the research, and I am immensly gratified that others, such as yourself, regard my work so highly. Thank you. I have kept a note of your name, and will come back to you should I need help with translations. What I am always looking out for are good drawings, especially for the less well known guns. Excellent work, sir! You are probably aware that there is another gentleman who is fascinated by firearms and how they work: Ian McCollum, “Forgotten Weapons”. His fine videos can be a bit hard to follow with more complex mechanisms. Just the nature of the beast without graphic animations. In an ideal world there would be a possibility of collaboration from time to time. I understand that your work is much more time consuming than running a video camera while disassembling a firearm, adding complications to such a collaboration.
