Thanks for this Jesse! I’m also doing one of these and I found that I wasn’t able to get the pads to flow. I went through about 4 connectors so far and this is one of my first connector repairs. I’ll be using an iron to touch up the joints.

@@VCCBoardRepairs By the way, Jesse. I’ve a board holder similar to yours. It’s a Mechanic. I’m struggling with it, cause it “draws” much heat of the board. I’ve to, kind of, saturate it first, so the board starts to heat up, so then I can desolder components. That happens most of the time with components near the edge of the board, that stays next to the holder itself. That also happens to the K23 you’re using?

What do you mean by "power IC" exactly? Because there's no such thing. There is a Power Management IC, but that's rarely the fault.

Hey budd, I have note 10 that have static white screen and colored dots everywhere, then it goes black when the phone gonosh booting, the phone respond to touch bit no display , it happend after I toke the back to replace it as it was broken, I toke the display flex ribbon off and put it back multiple times and cleaned it with alcohol still the same, the phone was working fine but the wireless charging didn't work all the time, is it the connector? Or the screen? And how much you charge for repair, thank you very much.

My A52 broke in this same way and the bottom row of pins broke off like this phone. The repair store soldered a new connector back on but I still have no image. I ended up taking the phone back since they told me they tried everything they could to fix it but no luck. Could it be an issue with with the flex cable instead? Thank you!
