No, the air will go in the expansion tank, and all you have to do after is fill the tank to the designated level.

Works in OBD ELEVEN if i go to EOL mode then follow these steps. Brake pedal for few seconds release then full gas pedal. Obd11 does not show the instructions sadly

Worked for me with obd11. You have to hold brake and acc pedal down for the entire procedure or else it’ll cancel.

OBD11 - it does not end fully. I manage to start it. RPM are at about 1000 for 5 minutes. Then goes up for a few second and then stops quickly. Pressing brake pedal after start causes it to stop immediately. Any advice?

Thank you. Did vcds tell you to bring engine revs to 2500 and then 3000? Did you have to get out and top up coolant level at all?

Vcds will do this automatically once procedure has been started

Ahoj, chystám se na rozvody v OIII a budu měnit i komplet kapalinu. Místo G13 dám G12evo. Vidím, že tu pomocí VCDS odvzdušňuješ systém. VCDS mám doma. Jen si nejsem uplně jistý postupem s kapalinou. Tu tam možu normálně jen nalét a trošku pomačkat hadice, ať bublinky vyjdou pryš a pak zapnout diagnostiku a odvzdušnit systém. Nebo jak by si to prosimťa dělal ty? Nechce se mi kvuli jednorazove akci kupovat pripravek na vakuove plneni

ja nie som profesionál takže ma ber z rezervou. použitie tlakoveho plnenia nie je nevyhnutné. rovnako nie je nevyhnutné odvzdušnenie pomocou VCDS. jednoducho naleješ vodu naštartuješ motor a čakáš, sem tam pomačkáš hadicu a ked voda klesne tak doleješ. cez VCDS odvzdušniť neni špatné lebo rátam že pustí všetky vodne pumpy a okruhy

@@leozavaroff9055 Not really. Still awaiting a response from someone who could get it to work! I had bonnet / doors closed. When I activated the bleed coolant circuit on basic tests ... I would just wait 5s ... Press clutch and brake for 5 s, remove. Then lightly blip the accelerator and it would move to ACTIVE. Left it a while and it didn't do anything so not really sure if it would've kicked in later (as the engine wasn't at temp). I vacuum filled it so it seemed fine anyway.

@@Fixingthings101 yeah, I got it to work doing the same thing, after about 5-6 minutes the engine started revving up to 3K rpm by itself then back down, etc. just have to wait I guess. Didn’t fix my issue though, coolant keeps getting out

@@Fixingthings101 no I haven’t, idk if I should, I do hear gurgling behind the dash, think the heater core/matrix is blocked up? Coolant only comes back up when I release the pressure and take off the cap..

I think you dont because the new tdis ea288 have 3 cooling circuits with much different stuff on it, but please double-check it
