Milwaukee M18 FUEL SAWZALL Is NOT THE BEST Reciprocating Saw! In this video we show the #verycoolgang which Milwaukee M18 FUEL Sawzall reciprocating saw is the best for you and the worst for you depending on a couple factors. During this year's Milwaukee tools NPS 2020 or PIPELINE event they announced a gen 2 version of their M18 FUEL SAWZALL reciprocating saw with a bunch of different upgrades. Milwaukee let us know that it was the fastest cutting Sawzall in it's class which a lot of people took it as it was the fastest Sawzall out now. In this video we will show you how this new Milwaukee M18 FUEL SAWZALL is not the best Sawzall that you can buy. Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below and which Sawzall version is your personal favorite.

As an Electrician these things come in handy more than you'd think. If we dig trenches for laying underground mains cables, we use these to cut through endless amounts of roots that obstruct us from laying in the cables. 👍🏽

As an electrician, I use a m12 hackzall. Its small and light weight, it has just enough power for the light demo work we do. Works great for cutting pipe in tight spaces and its cheaper than a sawzall. I do keep a basic sawzall handy just in case, but I haven't used it in almost a year

I like using my hacksaw to cut the nails off electrical boxes. Put my blade between box and wood and cut both nails.(I make sure to grab tight and block the wall with my hand to not destroy the sheetrock) And then finish the project. This in residential I've been using lots. Commercial I find myself cutting u brackets, PVC pipe, other types of pipe, wood and demo, cutting bars, and thick gauge wire. The list goes on. This is all coming from my years as an electrician. So depending what your company does. Or types of work. Find myself using different tools more depending residential/commercial, new or old construction.

The Sawzall has got to be my favorite power tool. I use it for so many applications, even wood carving. Jerome Schnettler was on to something when he invented it in 1951. We have M18 Sawzalls, the battery Super Sawzalls, and various corded Sawzalls. Milwaukee is hands down the best recip saw on the market (with the Skilsaw coming in at a close second). The battery saws are more convenient but they do not have the vibration under control or the durability like their corded counterparts. I wish Milwaukee would get the vibration problem under control with their lithium Sawzalls, because I am always reaching for the corded 15A Super Sawzall.

My DeWalt 60v flexvolt sawzall cut a 8" cast iron pipe in under 20secs...with a DeWalt 14 Tpi metal blade. Then that same blade cut 6 more of the same pipes, then cut right thru a Briggs & Stratton motor on a seized up rototiller...thru the timing chain everything you name it. Sorry Milwaukee fans, DeWalt owns the sawzall world. Period.

As long as it's not a Ryobi it's cool. Lol, I just like the black and red better, really it more came down to deciding a brand of battery powered tools cause the batteries cost more than some tools. Pretty much the 1/2" impact had me sold on Milwaukee plus at work I'd always grab Milwaukee over DeWalt cause I don't like yellow. Lol, if you're going to spend thousands on battery powered tools makes sense to stick with one brand. Corded tools I have all different brands and not one Milwaukee.

Question for Milwaukee specialists: My Milwaukee Sawzall M18CSX has the following error: The LED lights up 4 times and the motor just jerks and returns to the starting position. If I then move the turbine a little, it only works for one second and stops. After that, the LEDs light up 6 times. While the LED lights up 6 times, I can saw in an emergency, but I have to press the trigger every second. I checked the MOSFETs and all 6 are correct. It seems that the signal is missing or the hall sensor is faulty? What is your fault diagnosis? Greetings from Switzerlan

I remember when the new Sawzall was shown during the VCG pipeline video. I remember YOUR reaction to it Vince. The Hackzall has virtually replaced the Sawzall for electricians especially the M12 FUEL, especially paired with an OMT*. However the Sawzall still has its place with electricians. 20 years ago the Sawzall was 👑. Now for electricians it fell into a specialized category. Milwaukee just made better tools for general tasks that the Sawzall used to do by default because at the time it was the saw to cut it all. It still is but cabinet outlets once a jigsaw or Sawzall fell to the OMT* conduit and heavy duty cuts (where the OMT* can’t reach) the Hackzall replaced the Sawzall.

@@shauncatlett6066 I have used a co-workers and it is awkward going horizontal with it, having a handle not spend 90° to stay vertical and going sideways gives me more leverage to push in that direction. And if I'm going download of the ground or other scenarios I just flip the blade so they handle is opposite. I don't need many features on a reciprocating saw, I just needed to cut fast and powerfully through whatever I'm cutting in the super soul does that better than any other. Orbital and straight cutting is definitely nice to switch between the two depending on what and how you're cutting it. On more precise tools that you're using in tighter spaces like an angle grinder, metabos rotating shaft is really convenient.

.....lol literally gave away All my Dewalt tools and the pile of shit bag half assed batteries that Dewalt manufactures to be like toilet paper or bic lighters; disposable. Bought 8k in milwaukee and haven't looked back; specific tools designed by workers in that specific trade; couple that with the best "over the counter" batteries and best warranty and it becomes a no brainer. Dewalt fell off along time ago when they stayed stagnant on their R&D and thought they could rest on their past laurels and not have to adapt....their plastic is cheap as shit, their customer service is about as good or helpful as "Xbox support" and they got outgrown by EVERY other tool manufacturer....truth be told, I will buy rigid ANYDAY before Dewalt now. They are hasbeens and the only people that don't know is Dewalt and a few holdovers that can't admit defeat because of a looming 20k investment in yellow tools that won't allow them to admit they are sub par because of fiscally biased opinion! If you want to make m18 even better order a 100 pack of Samsung 35q 3500 mah 18650's or even 4000 mah's and the plastics kit off Amazon and build your own m18 batteries that are even superior to the m18 factory batteries!! Half price....twice as good of batteries almost!!

I'm keeping the super sawzall and she's getting the fuel non super sawzall for two main reasons The lighter weight, and more importantly the easier blade change option... She's over 70 and I have a heck of a time with the super sawzall blade change knob I think it would be utterly frustrating for her...

I have a stupid question: What do you really use a sawzall for? For stuts I get that but other purposes. I always believed that metal pipes are faster cut with an angle grinder. I might be wrong. Can someone tell me in what circumstance you can't do without a sawzall except cutting suts (nails/screws in the wood) away.

Wasn’t sure if id like this vid. The title seemed click baity to me. But I gotta admit. Good work Vince per usual. Definitly rock the m18 fuel +one key for the customizable starts and strokes per minute. Hope all is well and I shall doubt no more.

For real electrician that pipe there work and install conduit and big electrical gear, yes we use sawzall. Most of the time it will be a bandsaw because it’s smoother and faster but for tight spaces and bottom of gear to allow access to big pipe and obviously a lot more, we do use it often. Side cutters are really handy though lol.

Nope. Heck, my ryobi cut through a treated 6x6 and my friends dewalt flex was only halfway. We made it a race, same new blade, same start time. His little battery was the problem I think. I finished his cut too, Then my ryobi began to smoke on the third pole. My milwaukee super sawzall is much faster and can make many more cuts. You really need The biggest and most tech High capacity batteries, to get these new tools humming properly.

Best sawzall is what ever you can afford. As a plumber I have used dewalt Kobalt milwaukee and ryobi. I use them from cutting everything from wood to pvc or cast iron and steel pipe. What I discovered is all are very good saws but what matters more than anything is the blades you use. Deoblo and milwaukee blades cut really good. And all cut different depending on what your cutting.

I've only used the Corded 15AMP reciprocating saw by Milwaukee at other demolition companies that I've worked for. I'm currently starting my own company right now and am ready to go to the bank with my Buisness Plan, what is the best overall reciprocating saw corded or battery operated. That also being said, I've grown up with DeWalt for smaller power tools and Makita for bigger corded tools aside from the Hilti jackhammer and Milwaukee Resipricating Saw but am willing to switch over, what is the Best and most Reliable tool brand out there I'm between DeWalt, Makita, and Milwaukee...however Flex is up in the air as well. (If price was no problem and I was using these tools 7 days a week for 8 hrs

I want bóth since I'm doing different things different days. There are times I demolished equipment and need fast metal cutting, others it's wood. I have a regular sawzall but both of those would be perfect the smaller for under floors, cabinets the bigger one for cutting damaged part from equipment.
