This is information that could be very useful to Milwaukee tool and DeWalt To KNOW! Flex tools not only told us about their most powerful in industry Cordless power tools and Stacked lithium batteries, they showed the performance of FLEX's 24 Volt Cordless tools compared to Milwaukee and DeWalt. We have specs and information as well as tool demonstrations on the Flex tools listed below.

The great thing about Flex is it's creating more competition and implementing better technology. That being said companies like Dewalt and Milwaukee will move toward these types of technologies and in that sense everyone wins.

The stacked batteries and fast chargers are soooooo good! I was using my circular saw yesterday to make repeated cuts of scrap wood, and the my 6ah battery needed charged. I was shocked how quickly it was charged to full, and it wasn’t even hot when I took it off the charger. The saw is the best circular saw I’ve ever used, corded or cordless. Flex tools are no joke.

As a Flex tool owner, I am loving how fast it is evolving, but man do they need to do some work on getting more types of tools, 3 saws , 6+ drills, 2 grinders, yet no Trim router, heat gun, ect.... I am glad its moving but it seems like they are not giving us more types of tools yet and that is the only downside, The new batteries are insane and great that they work with the current products.

@RamdomAudioGuys. My cousin that works for Chevron/Kobalt/Flex he said that Flex will be releasing more tools especially the tools that you mentioned but he can't give me the exact specific dates but it's gonna be somewhere in 2023 or early 2024 and it's a top secret classified information as Flex/Chevron/Kobalt is aware that TTI and Stanley Black and Decker/ DeWalt and Makita might copy or imitate their New top of the line technology. As my cousin that works for Flex the company already got, mastered and perfected their New 2nd Generation of Stack Lithium Ion pouch cell battery technology, that will enable them to build more power tools, and testing on their science lab. He also told me that Kobalt might also have a Stack Lithium Ion pouch cell battery and brand new powerful Generations of Brushless Motors for their tools. And those brushless motors are gonna be much more powerful than Milwaukee and DeWalt. That's all it, He can't give me more Information regarding about it as He needs to be Quiet about it or he might lose his high paying job on Flex/Chevron/Kobalt

@@912dgm you know, Ryobi has been making those claims that they are trying to get into that pro category and I really did believe them until you get your hands on them and feel disappointed. Kobalt also has its fair share of corniness making those claims, but imo they are more on the steady side. I feel Kobalt has more to offer especially for the price. Ryobi is really all about cutting corners which I am not a fan of. For the same price, Kobalt will give you a metal housing rather than a plastic housing on the tool.

It’s embarrassing how any video suggesting Milwaukee isn’t best in any way inevitably has a bunch of fan boys in the comments saying the tests weren’t fair or, when all else fails, simply declaring “I’ll stick with Milwaukee.” Why do these folks even watch tool videos? Are they just waiting for someone to say Milwaukee is best so they feel validated? Are they deputized members of Milwaukee’s marketing team? I’m glad they like their tool brand but good lord.

The same can be said of the DeWalt or Makita fanboys. My tool chest has red and yellow everywhere (M22, M18, Skil, DeWalt 12V), and maybe some teal soon, so I like to look at things with a more skeptical eye. Flex has some powerful tools, but their marketing just sets off some red flags for me (kind of like Milwaukee's debut of their screwdrivers). That being said, there are some valid points. The bottles are not in the same location on those recip saws, which can definitely change the results. Flex is 24V, so it better be more powerful. Why did they have to go to 24V to beat Milwaukee? Flex does not have the depth of tool selection that anyone else has.

the power when he says it's the same it's true but all companies have two options with batteries. option 1 more power same run time. option 2 less power(be less power I mean equivalent to original battery) longer run time . they can make the stacked power run longer at the equivalent power of thier previous generation but flex chose more power but with same run time. all they gave up the voltage. or mess with increasing the amperage. that is how companies utilize the. dewalt with thier flex volt 60 v. more power better for circa saw or heavy duty equipment like impact wrench. longer run time would benefit drills impact drills, lights, recipe, saws, fans, hole saw drills. oscillating tools. they can make both style of batteries. they just just chose power

There are tools to measure vibration in their vibration test and I would never trust what a manufacturer advertises for battery tech; I understand the need for visual demonstrations, but there are better, more objective ways to demonstrate those principles. I would love to hear what you guys think and have some civil discussions in the comments!

Now just for fairness, he didn't use that turbo feature on the drill right? I recall them having that if my memory serves me correctly. I just need to know.

I love how on the torque test the milwaukee and flex had 6ah batteries but gave dewalt a 1.7ah powerstack lol

No way I do not believe it for a second. The only way I will believe Flex beats out Milwaukee and DeWalt is if Vince does a tool test because Vince's word is as good as gold. To me this looks like a carnival setup.

All companies make the classic " combo kit " Sawzall, circular saw, drill, impact...ect. No company comes close to Milwaukee's lineup of professional tools for tradesmen. Whether it's plumbing, electrical, automotive....but hey, nice, try flex. It's a little too much too late. Perfect for the handyman though 😆.

Chervon, AKA Flex, Kobalt, Skil, Masterforce, and a couple others are running the game right now. All the Red team go Guys get butt hurt when my saw, my rotary hammer and my impact outrun them and out perform them time and time again. Flex needs to get some respect. The tools take a total beating I'm a concrete guy we ain't gentle with our tools and I've been abusing them from over a year now and all is well. Literally everyone on the crews will grab my saw and my hammer drill before the Red team go guys shit now, cause it's better. Milwaukee is gonna have to get with it. Hell I had Kobalt and still have a lot of those tools that the guys will grab before they go for the Milwaukee. Chervon is way out in front from where I see things. Let flex get some big tools out like a mitre saw and a couple others.

That Sawzall test removed all the vibration in the flex but the Milwaukee tool didn't look like it had a Arbor in the head of the blade insert you know what I'm saying. That alone has weight and takes away the counter action of the saw

Dewalt and flex and literally helping each other. In my opinion. Think about it flex tools came about with new innovated battery technology then dewalt did. So did dewalt help them with the batteries. Then flex said will help you with more tech in you drill aka dewalt future of drills, impacts and impact wrenches with turbo mode?!

Why are they using one of the smallest batteries possible on the dewalt impact in the torque test 😂 power stacks are not equivalent to what they have on there for flex and Milwaukee lmao the flex and Milwaukee had their 6 amp hour ones on. I got the power stack batteries for free with an impact and they are one step up from the 2 amp hours power wise
