They work well for occasional use but you don't want to use one on a tool you're really going to lean on.

I have the Dewalt and the Milwaukee Battery holders and they work great! I got mine at Amazon $23 each pack, I mounted mine in my Toughbuilt Stacktech tool boxes. When you open the lid, on the lid there are holes you can screw them in and it works awesome! The screws they give you didn't fit well so I had to use my own screws to make it work. My friend did his also on the Dewalt 2.0 and he said it was great also.

Hey Vince. I do enjoy the Neat Tools mounts for the many flex batteries I have to keep track of. Actually I love them. Solved a major organization problem .

I love having the functionality of all 3 things it can do vs just a belt clip. Here is how I made my choice on what brand to go with back in the day. When I started in the trades the company I worked for ues dewalt tool only. That was back when they had the big fan chargers for the battery. My experience with then at the time was lack of power not reliable. My dad had milwaukee and they out perform Dewalt all day long

I used a wooden shim for the tool mount to work with a tool with a belt clip. I have been using the battery and tool mounts for over a year with my DeWalt tools and batteries. Thy have held up well.

Love Stealthmounts…I use 2 colors for each battery type so I can keep track of what’s charged and what’s not…the cardboard strip they come attached to actually has hole spacing and layout for multiple mounts side by side. Takes guesswork out on layout. Also, they have a spacer for the belt clip issue as an accessory

I forgot all about that charging station tree! 👍 I’ve got and use those stealth mount battery holders for DeWalt 12 and 20 volt batteries. Work great and I would recommend them to everyone.

Dewalt is great and budget friendly as is the m12 lineup. If you’re just starting build on the Milwaukee stuff. They’re just that little bit better than the rest.

Hello 👋 VCG I like them and we have those battery mounts in the shop. I run fairly mobile, agile, and some what aggressive business. So ruffly 80% of my batteries are on wheels one way or another and for everything else there is always the handy generator 😊. The only down side to Stealth Mount is they do not have German Metabo mounts or Fein 12 volt mounts.

👍 Good Job. I made my own bit holders for my 12v Milwaukee tools with some rubber bit holders from old packs and Gorilla Glue, works great. Need me some of them there magnet holders though.

I have 30 or 32 Milwaukee batteries and all of them are hanging with 3d printed mounts, also my Milwaukee tools some of them are hanging with 3d printed mounts the only thing I haven't looked at is at the belt clip magnetic thingy.

So the magnet but holder I use all 1in bits in it and keep a barrel in the gun so I can just swap the small tips , I found it was awkward storing longer bits in the magnet

If you have belt hooks on your tools and want to mount them on the wall, just mount them on a corner or put a 2x behind the mount and put 'em vertical... 🤦♂

This is a great idea. I needed some battery covers / wall mounts for my cordless Craftsman V20 tools. (Really Craftsman, you don’t include battery covers with the battery purchase??) I found someone on Etsy who was 3D printing them. They were $5 or $6 each. I am happy with my purchase but may have purchased these instead if available. The more choices the better 😊

I use something similar the battery holder they really good. I love But the tool holder only works on 1/4 inch impact and small drills and light tools ,heavy tools always break the tool holder
@DependableAutoTruck11 сағат бұрын
i think the battery storage system should also charge because when you put up tools the batteries don't need to be just stored they need to be charged for the next day.
@seanperson20329 сағат бұрын
Edit: I'm sorry their tool mounts only work if you also pay them for their little extra belt loopy thing? Who do they think they are, Apple? Also spider Bit Grippers are a much better on-tool bit storage product than those bit holders look. They allow you to store the bits on the head of your driver so you aren't poking your hand with bits when using the tool.

Does anyone make a converter to turn a cordless into a corded tool?
@tylerh764712 сағат бұрын
@@maze400 I looked into this a couple years back and came to the conclusion that no, no one does, and it might be impossible. Somehow stepping 120v down to 18v still won't provide the amperage to run it? Or the transformer to do it would be unreasonably large for the purpose

Pretty flex is stepping down because of sales. Still available but cutting certain tools out of their line up to focus on what more profitable. They're good power tools, but their marketing isn't very good. Not to mention dewalt cost isnt far off most their current offerings so people pass them up. Or are loyal to kobalt

DeWalt/Milwaukee only popular in the US, outside of it its Makita, Bosch, in Europe, Makita/Bosch/Dong Cheng/Worx/Devon in East & South east Asia. Not to mention tonnes of generic brands utilising Makita 18v battery platforms

The problem I have is buying a lot of battery power tools then the battery gets weak I go to buy another battery and the design changes. So you can either pay triple the price to buy a new battery or toss the tool and buy a completely new tool that fits the new updated battery. Thanks for the post Vince always love the channel

There are brands that haven't changed the design of their battery in over a decade. Bosch is one of those brands.
