Great Video Vince, loved the ending on the cinderblock. I knew you had to find out on your own. When you go to some trade shows and they are demoing things like drill bits, they never seem to work as good as the show bits, LOL. I have all of these older model of tapes and love them all. I prefer the smaller model because it fits in my vest so much better and its not so big and bulky cause I do a lot of trim work. Keep up the good work brother the channel is growing and growing!!!!

Magnetic 16 ft Milwaukee is my all time favorite for its weight, compact, stand, and easiness to spot. The 25 ft is my backup and any measurements longer than 16 I use my Bosch 65 ft. Laser. So far I haven't broken any and if I do I have some spares to replace it immediately. I buy them on buy one take one deals

Red square is the common separation for studs that match an 8´ sheet, 6 spaces with 7 studs. The black diamond separates the same 8´sheet in 5 spaces to spare one stud. Black square using only even foot marks, separates in 4 spaces and spare another stud. All depends on the stiffness requiered for the structure and local codes. Another thing that I learned today thanks to your challenge, 2 more are missing for today Gerardo

I’m an apprentice electrician that works omg the commercial setting and my favorite is the Milwaukee 25’ magnetic wide blade. Compact take with all the bells and whistles with incredible standout. I also have my Milwaukee 16’ auto lock that doesn’t have a magnet for my small measuring tasks that doesn’t require the use of magnetization out on the end of the tape. It’s got a skinny blade and the standout isn’t great, so when point to things in discussion for pipe runs, etc, I find myself battling the bend break war of the tape in mist of a collaborative discussion with a coworker. All in all, Milwaukee is my go to with a lot of my tools in my trade, they have been cranking out some good tools lately, I love it

I got one of those and I can attest to the sturdiness of that tape measure. I was loading a 5x8 trailer with wood planks and concrete, which weighed in at 4,500 lbs. Well, i didn’t realize I dropped my tape measure and I ran over it with the trailer. Still works like a dream.

For a 25’ measuring tape, the Stud is needlessly heavy and bulky for all day use. The Milwaukee 25’ Wide Blade Magnetic is much more practical. The Wide Blade isn’t advertised for 80-foot drops like the Stud, but it’s smaller, lighter, the design is almost identical to the Stud, and it’s sufficiently durable.

The red squares and a black diamonds are both for the same thing. They're both going to be indicative of stud placement. This is no Joke!! These are all left-handed tapes. Follow me on this. Assume you want to cut 2 feet off a 2X4. Because you are right-handed you pick up the pencil in your right hand and the tape in your left hand. You hook the "L" shaped end of the tape to the right end of the 2X4 and pull the tape to the left until your see 2 feet. You ready your right hand, the one with the pencil, to make a mark when you notice that the numbers are all upside down. Now try it again using your left hand to hold the pencil and your right hand to hold the tape. Hook the "L" piece of the tape on the left side of the board. Pull the tape to the right and all the numbers are right side up. This tape is for a left-handed person. This is a left-handed tape. If you don't believe me, try it.
