How does this defer in settings from regular composure and what passes can I export through SDI?

Hi! The key difference between VComposure and native Composure is that VComposure allows your talent to cast shadows and be captured in reflections, enhancing realism. It supports virtual camera movements, unlike the static nature of native Composure. VComposure is a 2.5D plane existing within the scene, allowing for dynamic camera actions like orbiting, zooming, and dolly shots. For output, VComposure enables program output from the viewport through SDI. Additionally, it offers image scaling, so you can choose to output via SDI at 100% or 200% scaling, giving you more control over the final image quality.

Another crucial advantage of VComposure over native Composure is its optimization. VComposure doesn't rely on Scene Capture, which is a core dependency for native Composure. This means with VComposure, there's no need to render the scene twice, as is required by native Composure. Hey thanks for the reply. But I can currently get shadows using the alpha channel on composure also my planes inherit lighting and such from virtual lights. I just need better keying tools and light wrap. Does Vcomposure have these options?

@@sybexstudio Appreciate your insights! While it's true that Native Composer allows for some level of shadow casting and lighting effects, VComposer elevates these features significantly. With Composer Native, media plates in a level can't cast shadows or be captured in reflections without suffering from Temporal Anti-Aliasing artifacts, which degrade image quality. However, VComposer completely eliminates these artifacts.Moreover, VComposer offers more refined chroma keying capabilities, especially crucial for translucid materials which often struggle to be accurately reflected or cast proper shadows. VComposer provides a 2.5D plan that is not only captured in reflections and casts shadows but also eliminates any Temporal Anti-Aliasing artifacts. Plus, it allows for precise adjustment of the contact point between the 2.5D plan and the ground, ensuring shadows are emitted accurately from the talent’s feet, avoiding any floating effect.
