VDA 6.3 - purpose, structure, VDA MLA alignment

VDA 6.3 is an in-depth process-based audit tool developed by VDA-QMC. It is applied by German automotive industry for organizations in the supply chain. VDA 6.3 was published for the first time in 1998 and was revised in 2010, 2016 and till January 2023 we have new edition in force.

Hi, Just wondering within the P3 /P4 there are options for both product and process questions, I'm I right in saying if the company is not design responsible for the product you only ask in regards to the process and don't click the product option withing the question?

Hello. One question please. What reffers to VDA RGA? I suppoose RGA comes from "Reifegrad" meaning maturity. Is this VDA RGA specific only for Mercedes client? Or every automotive project has this VDA RGA analysis prior to SOP?

VDA RGA in German means the same as VDA MLA in English. THis approach to project management is required by VW, Mercedes and BMW.
