Looking forward to seeing the coil comparisons. I've recently done the suspension in my 79. Think I'll get a lighter 3" coil to test. By the weight calculations, it should have been 3" but sits more like 3.75"

Yes i will measure up both sets I've got to put in....Cheers

I think its ROH who make a nice black powdercoated 12.9 high tensile wheel nut for the VDJ79R with a closed in end cap so water & rust cant get into the stud threads from the outside, plus they look nice & wear well.
@dustyfarmer3 жыл бұрын
Just check that the nut face taper mates correctly to your rims, I'm running ROH rims & ROH wheel nuts. I think there could be an issue between other rim manufacturers & ROH wheel nuts from memory, could have been the ROH nuts have a bigger surface area there too where they contact the rim.

hey mate - silly question, why diddnt you finger balance the steel wheels?
@TeamBulletOffroad3 жыл бұрын
Basically thats the only balancing machine they have.... thanks for asking
@dbsampson3 жыл бұрын
Should be getting balanced using a finger balancer not the cone style piece, they'll balance a heap better using less weights.

@@TeamBulletOffroad thank you, I'm trying to get some ROH steel rims from Aus to South Africa. I have 45mm spacers on the back so I'll get the Blak Trak 16x8 zero offset 👌
