You forget all viewers do not have access to an Audi S3 or my goodness ANY autos from Seat or Skoda so how dare you sir, Lol. I bet most people don't know what or who VAG is let alone they own Ducati, anyways, cheers.

So you did upgrade from 280 to 288? Tdi 130 and 150 have 288 from factory, v6 have 312 mm... And if you want upgrade from 288 to 312 you just need new rotors and caliper carriers...

Do you have the OEM(Audi TT or MK4) Jack Pads (Big Rubber Pad) under you MK4, where do you put the support under the car?

Love this vid, but if you have made advancements using the eurodyne tuning software could you make a video pt 4 or potentially just make it a serious I really appreciate those vids and it has been helping me a lot.

Do the 2.0 axles slide right into the 1.8t knuckle/wheel bearing with no issues? I wasnt sure if they were the same size or spline count.
@VdubInParadise2 жыл бұрын
Yes the splines are the same across all engines. These knuckles were originally on a 24v vr6 and then thrown on a 2.0L and now 1.8t.

i had those same breaks and rotors on my passat. did they give you alot of brake dust? mine did. thats my biggest pet peeve is having break dust on my rims (even tho they are stock) which has stopped me from getting after market rims put on. Any good brakes and rotors that will help eliminate so much brake dust?

My question I have a 2003 vw jetta 1.8t would i need to change the steering knuckle on my car and would i be able to run the same 17inch rims i have on my car would the calipers clear the rims
@VdubInParadise4 жыл бұрын
Your 1.8t should have the separate caliper design so no need to swap..Also, the calipers should clear the wheels with no issues. Some of the VW OEM wheels are 17in and have no problems

Probably would have been better going for the audi tt steering knuckles as the ball joint mounts lower which helps with the suspension geometry ;)

Good content. But drilled rotors reduce the life of the rotor because they run a high risk of cracking from the drilled holes. Cool look though.
