Our Skoda Kushaq got stuck in recent chennai flood water this time, didn’t crank initially but managed to push and halted the car at some safe place. Since many ppl/videos from social media media has advised not to crank engine, we tried for RSA in that heavy rain but no luck as we were unable to reach anyone in network issues due to heavy rain. After 20-30 mins with no option in hand, tried starting the car and it got started luckily without any issues. We drove back the same way we came and somehow managed to get escape from that area. Am not expert to advise anyone to try to crank their engine, rather just sharing my own experience, and I was lucky that time.
