Adda or kasba is not a new word for us from tiruchendur of 85-87. We have discussed a lot ranging from a to z . Sad that you quote as if it's a concept of Bengal. Barber shops ( murugan அண்ணா) சுடலை அண்ணாச்சி were patrons of our adda. Our scheduled meeting used to be Mr Kalyani Sundaram 's institute on Saturday evenings
