Unfortunately Dragon Peak lacks the prominence to make it a SOTA summit, but it's still a fantastic climb and I heard some interesting radio traffic from the top. Despite that, I did receive some cool 2m traffic from the summit. If you want to come along for a fun climb, I don't think you'll be disappointed even without any real ham radio activity. Enjoy!

Awesome video Adam! I’ve climb/scrambled up a few to know… I’m glad I did it, and I’m happy to watch you via KZbin… Mt Rainier, Mt Baker, Glacier Peak, Mt Stuart, Mt Shasta, Mt Adams, St Helens, Borah Peak, and Mt Girabaldi… scares me now… You be safe, have fun, and rope up next time! 72! de W7UDT

I was up on Kearsarge Pass last year. We did the Rae Lakes loop from the same trailhead. It was my first time in the Sierras & my longest backpacking trip yet. It's so gorgeous up there! Props to you & your friends to climb Dragon, with that kind of exposure it is not for the faint of heart! de N0LNT

Yes! So awesome. I have another video in work from a 3 day trip out past Rae Lakes to the 60 lakes basin and Mt Cotter and Clarence King. 🤘😁

Yes, the light polypropylene sun hoodie with running hat makes for a very good sun protection system, and stays cool on hot days. I use it all the time running and in the mountains.

I’ve done a few exposed, pucker factor ledges like that before. No mas! Haha.

Outstanding video as usual Adam. Great camera angles. This was cool to see since it's literally a "class" above what I would do. Did you contact the AIR station?

Oh man, exposed 4th class is probably the most uncomfortable climbing I've done. That looks like a ton of fun.

Awesome video, such a beautiful place! Question - did you ever make a tuturial on converting that headset/ptt mic mentioned in your smallest pack ever video with the KX2? Is it the same procedure as Radio Runner did with the Baofeng ptt speaker/mic? thanks!

@@K6ARK Awesome, thanks! The mic you linked to is a little more stout! I saw a SOTA spot of yours a week or so ago, tried to work you but you had pileup going! Good job! 73, K8JLW
