People aren't even watching Bollywood movies the way that they used to and a huge reason is because of these Bollywood celebrities. This topic is getting so boring. The illusion has worn off for me and it's been like this for a few years now. People expect the Bollywood industry to have morals and values. It's such a competitive, cut-throat industry that it isn't possible to hold them to the same standards as ourselves. You want the elite and mega-famous stars to be relatable when they are far from it. Also, I don't think anybody is falling for the 'humanising PR' anymore. Everyone's 'struggle' story is the same. If it isn't the struggle for an opportunity in the movies, then it's their weight struggles, money struggles, parents' divorce, cheating, drug issues, depression, etc. Stop telling us about your life story and work on performing well in the film.
