Sorry, let me correct myself here. Shahrukh Khan was majorly rejected by audience when he tried to move out of romantic/ action genre baring few movies like chak de or baazigar or daar. While when Aamir tried something different, he ensured that the audience loved it and the movies were super-hit to blockbusters baring few like LSC or TOH. 70% SRK movies are with either Dharma or Yashraj. The ever extravagant movie houses. Aamir worked with smallest of Directors and turned the projects into huge hits. I would say 90% of his directors were less known.
