sir....I have a question. we know that due to refraction throughout the day, all we look at is the image of the sun. but, that means that throughout the day, there is a difference of 2 mins for every position of the sun ? if yes, then why is the total difference taken as 4 mins and not some other greater no.

Sir I have a doubt that how different different gases changes their position after a time because they all are mixed up in atmosphere and do not form separate layer of particular gas , so their composition in atmosphere will always remain same , and intensity of refraction will remain same too So please sir clear my doubt .....🙏🏻

See ..All the air in the atmosphere is not at same temperature means there is cooler air as well as there is hotter air . And cooler air behaves as denser medium for light or hotter air behaves as rare medium ...thus refraction occur
