First Sutra of Vedic Maths.
Meaning: One more than the previous
Used to find
(i) square of numbers ending with 5
(ii) Product of numbers whose sum of digits at units place is one and rest of the digits are same.
(iii) Finding some vulgar fractions whose denominator ends with 9

Very nicely explained. But I have a suggestion (yes, even for you!) Before cautioning that one should be careful to add a zero between 30 and 9 when explaining how to multiply 59 by 51, it would help if you explain why. For example, stating that approximately 60x50 is 3000, so the answer is 3009 instead of 309 ( instead of simply saying " don't forget to add zero..). Thank you. I am enjoying your explanations of the Sutras 🙂
