This works great for topping up tires, not necessarily filling them. It is unsurpassed for small tires like bicycle tires and lawn or snow equipment tires.

Very cool gadget. I wouldn't use it to air up my 4Runner's tires after off-roading; I'd be there for two hours assuming that the battery lasts that long. But for my bikes and gym equipment, seems like it will do just fine. Ordered one from Amazon. Tx for the review!

Hold the power button down for an inordinately long time, maybe 30 seconds or a full minute. Otherwise you can leave it and let the battery die which could take months, or contact the manufacturer.

I didn't see charging it covered, but I want to know why it says Ch9 when I have it charging. I thought that means Charge completed 9 out of 10 quantities of charge (presumably 90%) but then it said Ch9 when fully empty, so I don't get it. Is that how it says the speed of the charge, or was it made by a guy named Charles Numbringham IX?
@jaykay18
@jaykay18 Жыл бұрын
It says Ch9 because it's watching Channel 9 while being charged. Actually, the reason it says that is simple--it's a standard digit display. There is no way for it to display a letter "g", so the 9 is actually a "g" without a descender. It will, however, continue to say Ch9 even after it's fully charged. I just plug mine in and come back to it either hours later or the next day. By then, I know it's fully charged.

My experience with this tools is that it is off by 0.5 to 1 bar. It is very noisy. Also you had to hold the tools throughout if your tire is in place. You cannot leave it on the ground as it will be dangling. Other than that, it is ok
@jaykay18
@jaykay18 3 жыл бұрын
That's quite a ways off. I've tested my tires with a tire gauge after using this to test it's accuracy. Here we use PSI, which is about 14.5 bar to 1 PSI, and it's been off by 1 PSI, or about 1/14th of a bar. Noisy? ALL AIR COMPRESSORS ARE NOISY. You can leave it dangle there if you don't mind it getting scratched up on the ground (depending on where the tire stem is). It'll keep working. Best for use with small tires like on lawn equipment or bicycles. Just because it can be used for a car tire, doesn't mean it should.

that icon you was not sure what it means i think it may be custom pressure and read instructions for warnings as high pressures can be dangerous and even deadly as for example big rig trucks have very large tires that have split or multi pied rims and they can explode sending pieces of metal and tire to injure and even kill who is working on the tire witch is why big tires are usually filled inside a cage. also note the 100 psi .

@@paigelarsonphysiotherapist2946 Right in the beginning of the video I show the parts that come with it. In the little accessory bag there is a brass adapter. The black end of the hose fits a Schrader valve just fine, that brass piece is supposed to be a Presta adapter.

@@You-Toober Yes, always. This products is made for a purpose. Obviously, something so small would do much better with small tires for things like snowblowers and bicycles, but indeed it can fill up a car tire if put to the task. It was all shown in the video. I wouldn't rely on it to fill up more than one car tire. In fact, it may not get a flat tire to the right pressure, but at least it'll make it drivable again to get to a station. For smaller tires, it can't be beat.

@@jaykay18 It does have excellent reviews at Amazon and I will admit that I got stung with a defective unit and it's a $63 loss for me. Point is, I still need a portable pump but I am discouraged from buying the same brand again. Perhaps reaching out to the seller at Amazon would have sorted the matter, but it was ordered on November 30, 2022, months before it was ever actually used so I doubt the seller would believe me and send me a replacement. It's my loss.. sucks, but aw well.

@@HigzyTeflon There shouldn't be any loss for you, it has a one year warranty. If you reach out to the seller, and give them the Amazon order #, they can look that up and verify it's less than a year and they will take care of it for you. Most of these overseas companies have much better customer service then well-known American companies. I review a lot of products, and occasionally there are defective ones that come in. Out of over 1,000 products, I can safely say that maybe about 10 of them, or 1%, were defective. Out of those 10, I've only gotten burned once or twice by companies that didn't want to help. So give it a shot, you have nothing to lose by trying, and your $55 by not.
