I did a similar mod. Have access to a mill and opened the square hole where the vapor chamber would contact, had to to get the asetek block to fit. It keeps this card chilly and I typically see temps in the mid 50's, sometimes a little higher. These cards have more potential than most think.

What about the heat dissipation on the VRMs? Is it good? Because you removed the air flow chaimber and the heatsink that dissipates the heat.

about 54c i believe, i live in a hot climate though. about 30-32c on avg.

So all Vega reference board using the same 64x64mm mounting hole right? I'm wondering because I don't know there is any differences between these gpus on mounting mechanism

yeah and also the thickness of that copper plate and type of screws you use to mount the AIO cooler on to the die ?

@@thanhanle3879 I don't remember. You won't find it in any country. Mine was custom ordered. Although I recommend taking the whole cooler off.

yeah, i would take it off though. the shim makes the coil whine really bad.
