Pepper skin was discarded, I ate the peppers with skins after only washed them with water. I noticed the Japanese did not use the brownish avocados for sushi making. I was surprised to learn from MAMA here that the big seed inside could separate from the "meet" when it was ripe. None here in Ohio selected Avocados shaking the "fruits" either. Surprised to know ripe Taiwanese avocados were brown with "smooth" skin too.
