I loved this series! I would suggest to have a picture-in-picture of the product being tested if possible. That way the viewer who is unfamiliar with the product knows exactly what's being tested and they don't have to rewind back. It might be hard though since the picture would be small... Maybe just the name of the cheese typed off to the bottom side? Just a suggestion. Great video tho!

Chao original slices are delicious. But the new Follow Your Heart slices, Smoked Gouda OR Pepper jack are OUT OF THIS WORLD GREAT!

I mix Miyoko's(expensive) with Daiya. Bringing together awesome flavor with a nice meltable texture. Makes an awesome mac and cheese, grilled cheese and cheese "burger"(with Beyond Meat burgers and grilled onions).

Definitely try Field Roast Chao Cheese, vegan go veggie melted (purple packet), and Teese vegan cheese! Those are what I've found to be my favorite.

Miyokos Creamery is AMAZING and Field Roast Chao is also realllllly good. 10/10 for both. You should include these so those brands get more coverage.

I dislike most vegan cheese products because all I taste is the pea protein and/or vinegar. Exceptions are Chao slices, Miyoko's Creamery products, Go Veggie vegan shreds, and Follow Your Heart Vegan Gourmet block cheeses. I dislike most Daiya shredded cheeses and blocks[the cheddar is OK], and Tofutti's "soft dairy" products are better in recipes than plain, IMO. Thanks for posting this; it was interesting to see everyone's respective reactions : )

Daiya cream cheese is the best vegan cream cheese I've had. It taste like I remember, but with a slight coconut taste to it. Chao original cheese is my favorite all around because it's great for pizza, and that's literally the only reason why I buy cheese anyway.

Totally agree with you! The Daiya Herb and Garlic cream cheese is great on an everything bagel :) Chao slices are unbeatable - best vegan cheese out there. I hope EV showcases these two!

I'd be curious to see a taste test w non vegans on slightly higher end vegan cheeses? Such as Chao, Miyokos creamery, Treeline, Kitehill, Vromage, etc. Personally I dislike most of the common store brands but I do like some of the higher end ones (which can be found in many Whole Foods stores) and think they could fool/be enjoyed by non vegans.

If the meat and dairy industry has you accustomed to eating that stuff since childhood it's going to be extremely hard for you to switch. I grew up in poverty and we never got to have that stuff a lot and had to eat a large variety of different foods and flavours. Thank god because I'm so open to different flavours and textures now. I think I have a mature palette !

I haven't seen Earth Island brand at my local store but Daiya is widely available. I have tried their shredded and sliced cheese. Both of which I promptly tossed into the garbage. They are absolutely disgusting. The only vegan cheese that I have tasted and love so far are Kite Hill cheese and cheese from Miyoko's kitchen.
