Hey there, fellow celiac - have you tried Vietnamese rice paper for wonton? It works pretty good too. Soften the dried sheet with a moist towel first, then cut it to the size you want - or, you can leave it full-circle and make a GF spring roll.

i love how niche your recipes are. they're gluten free, oil free, half, vegan, and often very healthy. i come to your channel and blog at least 3 times a week when i'm feeling uninspired (in the kitchen) and i always know i can count on your recipes to not include stuff i'm a bit shy about putting into my food (like oil and refined sugar). i made the fig newtons the other day and they were terrific, thank you so much nat ;)

Love this! I love savory recipes...especially Asian ones since I'm half Chinese. I wonder if you could make fresh oil-free chow fun noodles with that (or a similar) dough recipe?
@FeastingonFruit8 жыл бұрын
+Terra Bear Asian ones are my favorite too! Chow fun noodles? Okay I just looked them up, they are a wide rice noodle correct? That could actually work! Roll out a large piece of dough and slice it into noodles--definitely worth a shot. My only concern is they might end up gummy or sticking together while they cook. I can't find any recipes online for the noodles themselves to compare to.
@terrabear40938 жыл бұрын
+Feasting on Fruit Yes they are the fresh wide chewy noodles. So delicious- but difficult to make and buy fresh. They usually do contain oil which prevents sticking.
