I live in Houston and I've had soul food vegan, Verdines, Veegos, Linidana's, Mo Better Brewz, and green seed vegan. My fav out of these is green seed vegan and Veegos. Green seed vegan made the list in food and wine magazine for best burgers. I like them because I am not a fan of mock meats which they don't do. Plus they offer both cooked and raw options, plus it's black owned. Veegos is Mexican and I love their jack fruit everything.

There’s a new place that opened in it’s location called the Ginger Mule that’s also vegan! They have a good gyro plate, still expensive tho

Yeah it was extremely pricey! My favorite thing on their menu is the fried oyster mushrooms. Any recommendations on other vegan places to eat there??

I agree. Way too hyped. And I live in Houston. You should try Mo’ Better Brews, Korny Vibes, Green Seed Vegan, Sunshine Health Food, Meeks Pizza, Local Foods, True Food Kitchen. Houston Sauce Co, HAV- HoustAtlantaVegan & Planet Vegan are food trucks. In Dallas, you must go to Vegan Food House, Itso Vegan and Sankofa Kitchen
