We’ve got a massive bulk vegan haul at Woolworths and Coles for the month of June 2024. Come see what I grabbed this time.
Here’s another video on my family’s bulk vegan haul at Coles and Woolworths supermarkets in Australia, giving you an insight of what is vegan friendly at these shops.
There’s a bunch of accidentally vegan friendly items available these days, as well as vegan specific items, allowing Australian’s to opt for more plant based items in their shopping rotation - it really couldn’t be easier to be vegan in 2024.

The Woolworths Tofu Nuggets are great, they freeze and defrost well and are great in stir fries 😊

Great review, and loved the tips about how you use some of the products - e.g. I don't use chickpeas, or nuts, or the h'mp seeds, & haven't tried the schnitzels, or popcorn chik'n, but you've given me ideas on what to do with them all - thanks! (Btw, I 100% agree with you on the Yumi hommus and Vitasoy yogurt - though the yogurt presents a problem for me because I just rage the whole container when I get it lol)

Hi Jack, just a heads up, I stopped buying Meliora, it went mouldy in my fridge, never again, totally off of plant based/fake/mock meat, (veggie based burgers and fritters are okay) I'll stick to veggies from now on.

Interesting. In my area Coles (who I shop at the most) has absolutely garbage vegan products available whereas Woolies has an amazing range. Sadly the rest of Woolies fruit and veg and grocery products are much lower quality, so I have to split my shops between the two. Definitely definitely though that Macro Tofu from Woolies the god tier, Coles tofu is rubbery plasticine by comparison.

Agreed. I tried the Coles Tofu recently and it really wasn't up to standard as the Macro tofu.

Do you have Not Quite Right near you? Ours in bendigo pretty much always has vegan bargains- I tend to buy vegan meats / cheese there because it's heaps but less choice you have to go with whatever they have gotten in

I do have a NQR nearby, but I've gone on a couple of occasions and the vegan range has been minimal. I'm not sure if other vegans have just bulked up before me, or perhaps not getting a great mix at my local. Everyone keeps telling me NQR is great, but I haven't had the same luck just yet lol

Gotta soal the TVP in stock though not water 😅

It can be either and depends on the recipe. To rehydrate your TVP, pour boiling water or stock over the desired amount and let it soak for 5-10 minutes, or until it's reached the desired texture. If you're using stock or spices/herbs later in the recipe, it can be just boiling water :)
