Bread is a staple of life and this recipe is a vegan twist on an old Trinidadian favorite. Growing up, being sent to the grocery to buy a quart of hops was a rite of passage. You would return from the bakery savoring the smell of the freshly baked bread and trying not to pry open the bag and devour one or two.
Ingredients
1 tbsp yeast
1 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp olive oil
2 cups whole wheat flour
2 cups white flour
1 tbs baking soda
1 tsp salt
2 tbs oil
½ - 1 cup water
