FYI: The dish is pronounced “pie-aye-ya.” In Spanish, 2 L’s make a “y” sound. Some folks take their paella very seriously😄, but hopefully people will be polite in correcting your pronunciation & recognize there are things they also don’t know & they would appreciate a kind/well-intended education when wrong. @@AmandaDucks Looks delicious! You should try out including the socarrat to your paella - That is the crispy crust on the bottom. You could probably just take the lid off at the end and crank the heat for a couple minutes to get it. The contrast of textures is so lovely! Love all your recipes - Especially your sweets 💝

Totally! In Portugal we start every recipie basically by heating water (always necessary) and making "refugado": olive oil with bay leave, onion and garlic ☺️

Can i ask where you got your large pasta shells? I can only find the small ones in the normal shops (Coles, woolies etc)... are they in more specialty stores or online? These meals all look so delish. I might try them all!

I get them from Coles! They are in the pasta section usually down the bottom or up the top of the shelves!
