The vegan burger is actually pretty new to German McDonald's, they started selling it in April 2019. Maybe it'll come to the UK as well.

I know right. I’ve been veggie since I was 8 and vegan for the past 2.5 years and luckily I’ve forgotten the taste of dead animals so any meat substitute is nice for me. People can’t expect plants to taste the same as an animal, it can taste similar but it’s never going to be identical
