honestly i’m so glad you spoke about why you moved on so fast. i was with my ex for 4.5 years and it wasn’t healthy and sooo toxic. when i ended it i moved on within a month. which sounds so fast but my previous relationship was over prior to it being officially over. now i’ve been with the same guy for 4.5 years since and honestly i can’t imagine being with anyone else. when it’s the right person, it’s the right person.

There are no rules when it comes to relationships. If you meet someone new right away who makes you feel good, then go for it! Don't pass up a chance at happiness because some people might say it's "too soon" - Plus, I can say from personal experience, sometimes the relationship was dead long before the actual breakup. LBoogie Luv I absolutely agree, however Carli along with most people in the social media industry, including myself don’t “need” to explain themselves especially when it comes to someone else’s life decisions, and doesn’t affect them in any way, shape, or form. But at the same time this was information she chose and wanted to share with her supporters. I’ve posted many times about my own life choices and decisions, and not because I felt like I needed to explain them to anyone, but because my story/truth could help and/or inspire someone. My takeaway from watching this one specifically was her inspiring people to choose happiness and not stay in a relationship just because it’s comfortable when you’re not happy. Just my 2 cents 😘❤️

I believe a couple breaking up is just the confirmation of the relationship being completely over. The relationship was over long before the breakup. There's no reason for a person to wait a significant amount of time to be happy again. Some people need a longtime to move on and others don't. What does move on is time, and with time moves life. Some advice to you from a married woman.. Love is more than just a feeling. Its a lot of DOING. Those feelings of happiness wont always be there 24/7. All in all they both are handling this with dignity. It’s “the people” who seem to be making things nasty. They’re young and things happen. Sometimes we grow apart and that’s ok. Yes it sucks if one person doesn’t feel the same but it’s called life. You love, you lose but you live and you grow and hopefully take away from the situation and apply it to a new relationship for a better outcome. They both seem like good people and I’m positive they will find someone made just for them-flaws and all.

My best friend left a really toxic marriage where it looked "perfect" on the outside, but she hadn't been happy in it for a long time and it wasn't what she wanted. She asked for a divorced and coincidentally met someone quickly. She got so much flack for it but she told me "I just have to do what feels right for me". My point is you're spot on with what you've said. It was hard for her to get a divorce, and even harder to publicly move on knowing people would judge. In the end you've just got to do what's right for you because you only have one life! (btw six years later she's remarried with two kids and the happiest she's ever been!)

Carli! I relate to this soooo much. I was in a 6 yr relationship and overtime I forgot what it felt like to be happy. It was extremely unhealthy for me (btw I’m a Pisces) and I was consistently holding on so I wouldn’t hurt his feelings. But eventually I was strong enough to let go of him and it was the best decision I’ve ever made because I’ve now found a guy who genuinely makes me happy and makes me feel loved. I was judged so hard for moving on so fast too, especially from people on KZbin, but no one will ever truly understand my every move & ive finally come to accept that. You’re such an inspo Carli!
