I'm so glad I found your channel! I'm a nutritionist and I love experimenting with vegan meals even thought I'm not vegan. These videos are everything I needed in my life. No bullshitting about detox and such nonsense, no aggressive comments against non-vegans, just a lot of fun with recipes. And the amino acid combinations in your meals is great (yeah, I'm binge-watching the what I ate in a day videos). I'd say that this is probably the smartest way to be vegan. I'm wondering how don't you have hundreds of thousands of subscribers.

Daniel West I was thinking the same thing... what's unhealthy about it? I guess its relative to who you are and what you consider healthy. she looks to be very fit. she may think anything with bread and 'cheese' is unhealthy. me, however, if it ain't deep fried and batter dipped and covered with REAL cheese, I think it's healthy lol.

Russian dressing recipes typically call for mayonnaise, chili sauce or ketchup, relish, horseradish, paprika and other seasonings, making it considerably spicier and less sweet than Thousand Island dressing, with its hard-cooked egg, lemon or orange juice, cream and sweet pickle relish or olives.

@@SarahsVeganKitchen Same! I stopped eating deli meat sandwiches a while back once I realized just *how* extraordinarily unhealthy processed meat is, but having actually gone vegan now, Reubens and tuna salad sandwiches, specifcally, are what I miss the most. (Sandwich wise, at least). DIscovering that you can very easily just substitute chickpeas for tuna (or chicken, for that matter) was a godsend. I'm stoked to see this recipe to make a corned beef substitute - Gotta try it soon!

You are the first vegan KZbinr I have found in ages that I actually really like! I used to watch loads around the pre-essena era and then they all slowly started to bug me as I got older and so I gradually watched less and less and these days I only occasionally watch freelee, mostly for old times' sake, and bonnyrebecca, I don't find that any of the others ever really get me wanting to go back and watch more of their channel - I find a lot of them quite un-relateable. Granted I haven't tried that hard to search around, it's mostly whoever pops up in suggestions, but you're the first vegan KZbinr I've seen in ages who has got my attention! You're funny and you make great food, also I have been thinking about how much I used to like corned beef a lot lately, so this sandwich was a sure-fire way to my heart! Thanks for the vid!

Can you tell me where I can go to buy the seitan corn beef? I shop a lot at aldis and Trader Joe's but haven't come across it. Also if this question has been asked and missed the answer either in the comments or previous videos can some point me in the right direction? Thanks for the videos!

Hi, this looks really good! One tip though, I wouldn't ever microwave seitan. It dries out and goes as hard as rock, best to warm it in a pan like you did.
@queentina47able5 жыл бұрын
I got a Ruben sandwich from a restaurant and it was good but the meat was made from soaked and baked tofu wich was a little dry. I am sure this taste much better with the seitan it's more softer and meatier plus the food was very expensive we paid $80 for 3 sandwiches 2 smoothies and a salad. I would rather make it myself taste much better.
