Its amazing how different our bodies all react to different diets etc. Each experience with menopause is so unique its quite beautiful. Hello @Liv Fit Freedom. Yes. Thanks for pointing out individuality. We know that estrogen receptors come in a few variations. This affects results. We know that anyone with autoimmune genes is more sensitive to nutrient deficiency. We know that women have an intestinal environment that affects their absorption of nutrients. We know that some women have genes that make absorption difficult and they will have brain damage without a nutrient dense diet. Unfortunately, I get to see this all the time. These women are very hard to coach because their brains are affected. Only 7 Board Certified Coaches are even trying to help menopausal women. Menopause is devastating for so many. You might be interested to know that the SWAN study found that women age 40-65 were 2-4 times more likely to have depression. This makes diet and exercise impossible. Only 1.7% of women had a nutritious diet and daily exercise! That’s what it takes to be healthy! That’s what it takes for vitality. I was under a Dr that encouraged veganism and it almost killed me. Almost lost my ability to walk. My muscles were so weak and in constant pain. Couldn't sleep and was having bad memory issues. I am 49 yrs old I felt 100. Ended up seeing many doctors to try to figure out what was going on. Even a neurologist couldn't tell me what was happening he just wanted to send me for physic meds and seziure meds for pain and I refused. Thank God I found Kitty on you tube. She has literally saved my life. I am now on correct hormones for 3 months and doing much better looking forward to more improvement to come. Food is so important all the time especially in menopause. Doing more to help people than any Dr I have seen. I even had to tell the gynocologist what I needed. Thank goodness she was willing to try me on high dose HRT. Love you Kitty keep rocking the boat we need you!

Hello @Ginger. I'm sorry it is so difficult to get help these days! It shouldn't be so hard. We have so many distractions, and no one prepares us for a menopause crisis. As you point out, our doctors can distract us from full recovery! I expected the white coats to solve my problem of low dose estradiol, but that didn't happen! They had every other kind of treatment to give me, but no one wanted me to dose up my HRT! It took Covid for me to experiment with the higher doses. I just couldn't rely on doctors. I had to find out why HRT would be a good solution. It's been 2 years now on high doses. Feeling fabulous with a nutritious diet and daily movement. Lovely. I wish you wellness. Kitty

@PK S. Yes. Very difficult. We do know that different individuals are able to absorb nutrients at a different rate. All 140 autoimmune diseases are sensitive to hormones and nutrients. 21 missing nutrients in Vegan. Yikes. This will hurt anyone with autoimmune genes. The vegans and vegetarians that I know look older for their age. They claim that their cholesterol is on healthy levels and that’s why stay in the diet.

Too many missing nutrients for brain health. It's against the law to feed children vegan/vegetarian in some countries. Not nutritionally sound. So many women come to me with disordered eating. Restrictive eating is more likely on a vegetarian diet. Not nutritionally sound. Cholesterol is not a good measure for most any type of health. It's an "old" marker. Very misleading for health. I believe that you truly want to help women with HRT. But you completely lost me when you put out this video in regards to scaring women into believing that if they follow a healthy vegan or vegetarian lifestyle that they will end up in hospital. This is very inaccurate. Unfortunately some ppl do not eat properly on an animal avoidance diet but if followed carefully and monitored I’ve seen many women and men that are plant based with no animal products do excellent and even reverse dangerous lifestyle of animal based eating that contributes to many known ailments in health. I personally have never felt or been healthier than becoming plant based as I have had numerous allergies to many meats. Not one way of eating fits all. I will have to agree to disagree on these matter unfortunately. I do wish you much success in helping to reach women with hormonal and hrt help. Thank you for your information regarding de stigmatization of HRT.

This is an example of 4 clients. I compare them to the Autoimmune Protocol. It’s complex and I have tried to simplify it down to the bones of food groups. I’ve never met a client that has been monitored for nutrients. Most people come to a diet seeking something like weight loss without any thought to the nutrients involved. Unfortunately our low hormones of menopause do lead us to disordered eating as part of mental health issues. It’s hormonally driven. So, even if a woman was once monitored diets can fall apart with hormone loss. Estradiol makes feeling full possible. Estradiol controls our meal size and frequency. Low estradiol means using food as a reward. That’s in the neuropsychology research. Anyone with low hormones will veer away from a diet. My clients share food logs. We look at all the elements of nutrition. We can boost nutrition by adding specific nutrients. We do take into account sensitivity. But sensitivity is reduced with higher HRT and more nutrients. Our reactions aren’t always permanent. If someone stops eating meats and fish, they stop producing digestive juices that break these things down. It takes a specialist to help the body adapt back to omnivore eating. Every person has a choice to make. My hope is that everyone gets a bit more information on nutrients. It’s required for post menopause health. I have more information in Your Initial HRT Appointment Guide. Hormones and nutrients are both communication molecules in our body. We need enough to avoid disease. That’s my only point. I’m glad that some women get monitored. I’m not meeting them. But women come to me in crisis. Sometimes they bring their partner or best friend to coaching. Some have been unable to walk. It’s not glamorous for anyone. I see women who have not been able to piece together wellness. I’ve known many people, myself included that either became over time unhealthy or developed autoimmune immune disorders after a vegan diet.

This is absolutely true. There are 1000 + autoimmune coaches working with vegans and vegetarians. Low nutrient will trigger disease. Toxins, stress, low hormones and infections all trigger autoimmune. We must protect ourselves. A nutrient plan can be created. Email jumpstartaip @gmail.com
