Jasmine Lipska threatened to take legal action for defamation for what I said about her in this video lol. Then got upset I told people that, probably cuz she knows it doesn't make her look too good. Which also probably means she never intended to take legal action, she maybe just wanted to use the threat as a scare tactic to get me to do what she wanted. Doesn't matter either way; the things she accused me of saying weren't even things I said or were objectively and easily proven to be true. (Slim chance she did any research on defamation before making the threat and even slimmer chance she had actually consulted a lawyer about it) People wanna be able to do what ever they want to benefit themselves but never wanna face the consequences of people finding out about their actions. // At no point in the video I do I call anyone a scammer nor do I imply that. If you think my videos are about exposing scams, I have no clue where you got that idea from but it's not from me ever calling anyone a scammer because I don't just throw that word around nor do I think anyone I talk about in my videos is scamming people. The only time I have used the word was in the title and video about kangen water.... and I also do not think that is a scam. I am 99.9% sure that is the only time I've ever used that word in any video I've ever made. My videos are not about scams. I state at the beginning of this video that I disagree with certain things within the coaching industry.. that's what the video is about. // Thanks so far to everyone has left their thoughts and experiences. I think something important to mention though is that life coaches should NOT actually be offering advice. I'm 24 and a certified life coach, having just completed an intensive 10-month training program that's certified by the International Coaching Federation. According to the International Coaching Federation, which is the closest thing my industry has to a regulatory body, coaches should NOT be giving advice - our job is to create a space where people can talk about their thoughts and feelings. Our role is to ask questions that can help the client see things in a new way, which is a skill that you learn and not one necessarily based on life advice. In fact, offering advice is seen as unethical and unprofessional - your job as a coach is to help someone figure out what the right course of action is FOR THEM and then support them in providing accountability and support as they work towards that goal. All of these 'coaches' who are giving people advice and telling people what to do should not, in my opinion, be able to market themselves as coaches. What they're actually doing is consulting, not coaching. A coach should not be bringing their personal experience into their coaching sessions, because that's bringing in a whole lot of personal bias and implies that what was right for you would automatically be right for your clients, which just isn't true. And I would like to caveat all of this by saying I am not an expert in all of this - this is what I have learned over the past year studying the coaching skillset and the ethics of coaching as a profession. I'm sure I have a lot left to learn, but what these influencer coaches are doing goes against literally everything that I have been taught!
@megawesomus4 жыл бұрын
@@intentionallymadi1843 I love that you are trying to take the ethical approach to coaching and clearly have great intentions in helping people. However, your explanation of "not giving advice" being "help someone figure out what the right course of action is" sounds like a nice way to talk around the fact that it still is essentially giving advice for what path clients should take in their life and keep them accountable to that. Maybe the wording is just a little off, but I would say the line is incredibly thin between being a place of support and moving into some difficult territory that could cause some serious issues rather than improve lives. I feel like one of the biggest challenges for coaches is being able to discern between someone who just needs a little extra support in whatever they're doing to improve their life and someone who actually has some serious mental or physical health issues that should instead be referred to a more qualified professional. I have a hard time believing that less than 1 year of training can provide this insight.

Absolutely love your channel Anna!! This got me thinking of The Dunning Kruger Effect. After learning a small amount in a space or having relevant experiences, we inflate our sense of competency in a topic. This is (one of the less financial reasons) why influencers value their own advice enough to charge huge amounts without feeling like it’s a scam. Anyone with reputable long-term certifications, deep reading or a degree would be so aware of everything they *don’t* know that they would never sell themselves so brazenly as an expert. Human minds and lives are complex. Coaches often don’t even know what they don’t know... Loved your nuanced analysis - I still think coaching, when done well, is amazing. Great work as always :)

please keep in mind that in addition to specialized curriculum, degrees/certifications/ college education also consistent of clinical internships, supervised hours, licensing boards, peer reviews, competence training, ethical/law codes, & in some cases, personal therapy. The biggest issue with life coaching is that it is unregulated, making it largely more susceptible to unethical practices. IMO life coach influencers might unintentionally be contributing to the stigma around the legitimacy of mental health treatment, something that has held back the field of mental health for many years AND keeps people from seeking help from the "shrink" You wouldn't want a unlicensed doctor regardless of their listed experience performing major operation on you.

The ego it must take to feel like you're so superior that you just magically have the skills to play with peoples' lives this way so you can make money and feel like you're making a positive impact on the world is crazy. You can't cut corners when it comes to mental health and this is a quick way to traumatize people! And I would imagine when this happens the coaches try to brush it under the rug and pretend it never happened and turn the blame on the client for not being able to discern better themselves that they should've seen a professional to begin with, when they were actually targeted for being vulnerable and fed manipulative marketing tactics. Time is valuable, too, and I think it can be worth it to have someone organize information for you, even if that information is available for free. However, the prices you mention are crazy for this service!
@AnnasAnalysis4 жыл бұрын
I see your point but coaches are not organizing the correct information, they're organzing their opinion of what helpful information is- and it's going to look different for each coach probably. So you can get an organized look at 1% of the information out there by hiring a coach, or you can have access to a much higher percentage by taking more time to learn more perspectives. Or you can read a short book from the library where certain info is also organized. Or you can email or message people in the field and see if they'll answer for free. Many coaches clients have positive results yet they may all teach different things. So it's not like you need a coach to condense and organize all the informaton because they're just sharing their views on things, not the objectively best advice and information (I'm not saying that there's even such a thing though)

As a budding relationship coach, I appreciate you calling out the scumminess in the general coaching industry! Sadly, since it’s so unregulated, even certifications don’t mean much (every program is so different, many don’t equip you with sufficient skills or practice). It’s a “low bar to entry, high bar to success” industry. Meaning that anyone can call themselves a coach and launch a biz, but very few will find lasting success because it requires that they deliver great results, build a reliable reputation, and prove their worth. Many coaches are in it for a quick buck and use the unethical tactics you describe. A few thoughts on some of your points: -a lack of certification/credentials doesn’t mean a lack of skill. I have an MS in soil microbial ecology, yet I can’t keep half my houseplants alive. And the inverse is true: I don’t have a degree in couples counseling or sexology, but I’ve helped many people improve their relationships and solve their emotional problems. So if people find that worth paying for, great! -Coaches do need to be more clear that they give guidance, ask insightful questions, inspire, and hold clients accountable. It is NOT therapy, medical advice, or mentorship. -Coaches (especially health coaches) need to be clear that they will SUPPORT you in a healing/fitness/wellness/weight loss journey, but it’s not the same as medical advice. When it comes to psychological topics, both therapy and coaching can play valuable roles for someone, especially when used in conjunction, but indeed, coaching doesn’t supplant therapy. -The best coaches are honest about who they can NOT serve, and will recommend someone more suitable if they’re not a good fit for you. Coaches need to stick to the limitations of their particular niche or skill set; for example, life coaches in their 20s should mostly just serve others in their 20s or younger. Honest coaches will be clear about what their services can and cannot do. My advice: get to know a coach for a while before hiring one. Consume their free content, ask questions, look for case studies and testimonials, and see what their refund policy is. If you feel icky or weird during their sales pitch, or if they dodge important questions, just move along. :)

Jasmine is living a perpetual vacation lifestyle and normal people have 9-5s - how could she possibly be a life coach and give financial advice when she's been privileged her whole life. Not to mention, the manifesting stuff is getting worse and worse. It's not even pseudoscience it's straight up bullshit. Someone asked how she stays positive when things go wrong during traveling, she brought up her phone getting stolen in Vietnam and said she "mAniFesTeD" a new one. No babe, you either got it because of insurance or you walked into the apple store and got a new one by paying for it. She also deletes any negative comments about her. In a KZbin vid with her bf, I asked why they weren't wearing masks when it's recommended by Bali govt as there's 2000+ cases a day. The older people they visited for an activity were wearing masks so why can't they? Guess it's because they think coronavirus is basically the flu and is a fake government propaganda for the "new world order". Well that's what her bf believes anyway. Used to be a supporter and now they're just plain ridiculous.

A lot of life coaches are targeting the insecurities of people without really addressing the root causes. As someone who works in this field, I will say it's very toxic and targets at people's "pain points" in such a way that makes someone feel like the coach can solve their problems or has a solution. When in fact no one can fix anything for you or solve anything for you. Stay far far far away from people who tell you they have solutions for your problems or make you feel like they can save you. That is toxic and they are making you feel like you need them. You don't. They need you, that is why they are trying so hard to sell and make it seem like they have all the answers. Stop buying someone's lifestyle, that is what a lot of marketing/influencer culture is based on right now. A true coach/teacher/mentor/therapist doesn't work in this way, their own evolution, growth, healing always comes first. Lastly, please always use your own discernment, always run things through your system and feel it out before you just give your power away to people.

As someone who struggles with chronic illness I feel really torn on the idea of a 'chronic illness coach'. I know first hand how challenging both mentally and physically it can be and some days having someone to coach me through that who already knows what its like sounds invaluable to me but I also think it's so out of reach for most people due to how expensive it is to be sick in this country, especially. That being said, I've found huge value in online support groups like Reddit, FB groups etc. for free. There's a bit of an unspoken bond and understanding between those who are sick. Would love to know other peoples thoughts on this.

There’s nothing more annoying then the 20-24 year old “life coach”. Also I think the “sex and relationship” IG coaches are some of the worst. I trained this lady (I’m a personal trainer) who was one and was just bitter toward her ex husband, literally would wish death on him (not exaggerating. I fired her as a client essentially because conversations with her were completely uncomfortable). But then she’d put on a charade, or delusion, that she has it all figured out and can positively impact others marriages (makes me cringe to think anyone entrusted their marriage to her). Most these people haven’t even been able to overcome their own issues and want to get paid “coaching”/scamming people into thinking they can help them overcome theirs. It’s so disheartening as well that these people can preach ‘wellness’ and ‘empathy’ for others, yet their actions don’t add up with their words, and they are practising for self-gain, not to genuinely support and help others..

So I've contemplated how to sustain myself as I grow my passion for, I guess you could say, my "spiritual business" and I've learned for myself the best way to do it is to implement this model: Keep 99% of what you offer free and the other 1% reasonably priced products or services that add some level of depth to your niche. Of course what you think your "level of depth" will also be subjective to others. People will want to support your passion in the same way people support art or other creative endeavors. This is just what works for me and things are always changing. Honestly, just be overly conscious of what you are doing and be as transparent as you can be with folks. Instagram needs to implement verified badges that shows the persons qualifications. If you don't have any and your still passionate about a topic there should be a badge for that as well! Okay but as a French person, can we talk about how I am not surprised this phenomenon is so popular in the U.S ? Like yeah, it makes sense that if you don't have easy / cheap access to proper high quality healthcare and counselling therapy with lack of information about resources to seek when sick whether physically or mentally, you're more likely to look for alternative methods that appear more accessible or effective... Blame it on the disgustingly high cost of private health care & blatant fake news spread on social media about diseases and denouncement of their more traditional treatments. It totally makes sense and just shows that this problem is completely political ! If only the government spent more money on reducing the price of those services or had the financial & organisational means to punish those pseudo-coaches or gurus promoting unhealthy methods against diseases that need to be medically or psychologically treated (I would be surprised if you didn't have a law in the U.S as well against endangering other people, in that case through unqualified counselling), you wouldn't have to make this type of warning video in the first place. Most coaching "certifications" mean nothing. There are countless online "universities" where you can get certified over a weekend for $99. It's not like medical school or law school. Even the more reputable coaching programs are problematic. I've talked to people who dropped $3,000+ on certifications and never worked with a single client. What good is a certification if you have no actual experience? For that reason, the only credential that really matters with coaching is results. Has this person helped other people get the result I'm looking for? Have I seen tangible evidence of this? Have I directly experienced their coaching style? Those are the questions to ask.

I agree with everything you said, well made video Anna!!! The only thing I wanted to mention is that nutritionists aren’t always qualified. The difference between dieticians and nutritionists goes as follow: “In the United States and many other countries, a dietitian is a board-certified food and nutrition expert. They are highly educated in the field of nutrition and dietetics - the science of food, nutrition, and their impact on human health. In the United States, the title “nutritionist” may encompass individuals with a broad range of credentials and training in nutrition. In over a dozen states, certain qualifications must be met before an individual can call themselves a nutritionist. In states that don’t regulate the use of this term, anyone with an interest in diet or nutrition may call themselves a nutritionist. These individuals may apply their interest in nutrition to anything from running a food blog to working with clients.” This was taken from healthline Just an important distinction to be mindful of!! Great work!! I love how much work you put into these.

Hi Anna thanks so much for making this video! I would love for you to talk about this more. I was sucked into a coaching membership last year with a woman called Samantha Hearne, she had no credentials or qualifications to be an anxiety coach or a councillor, but she said she didn’t need them because she got people results and she’d published a book about anxiety with Amazon. The 12 month membership was $38 a month. It was quite helpful in some ways but I don’t think it was worth the money the longer it went on. It really was nothing I hadn’t already heard for free on KZbin. She then overnight became a business coach and the focus of the group changed almost all of the information about business... she kept trying to get me to buy her other courses and go to her events which were hundreds of dollars each, which I’d already told her I couldn’t afford because I was only doing small part time work due to being very sick the months prior and she knew my situation. The really sad part of it was when I cancelled my payment I was about to write her a message to apologise for leaving and thank her and that it just wasn’t the right fit for me, but before I even had the chance she immediately deleted me and removed me from the group. That was really upsetting, clearly just about the money. I’ve just looked back on her website and she’s now a business and personal brand coach and charging over 11 thousand for her one on one coaching and I think 6 hundred for her group program maybe more. I don’t doubt she has the ability to help people with business but how can she warrant charging that much money I don’t know how she sleeps at night, it’s disgusting! I know there is lots of people like her and I pray people are smart enough and don’t get sucked in to wasting their time and lots of money! ❤️❤️❤️

I work at my state's licensing board for licensed professional counselors and we have people who call wanting to know how to become licensed with us (which is totally fine - I point them to our laws and rules that outline in detail the initial academic requirements and they can continue to read on from there). But some people who call, upon hearing what the requirements to become licensed are, want to basically know loopholes around that - I remember one person specifically asking me about coaching instead and I told them I had no idea how to do that because we don't regulate life coaches. It's scary realizing how many people out there are soliciting, basically illegally, mental health counseling without the qualifications to do so; that and so many other health services are of course not to be taken lightly, and I wish there were more that could be done because I can't imagine going to someone and trusting them and then realizing they have no business in providing these services

But sadly I also can not unsee the problems anymore, especially because it happened to close friends. I wish people would not be scared of studying anymore (or doing an apprenticeship, anything with a longer commitment where you actually have to learn something new) it actually is mind-blowing how you finally understand thst fidst of all you do not know much and so much more about people, yourself, the system, knowledge and so much more. It is not just the topics you learn about, but simply everything that is connected with studying and being so dependent on yourself, your motivation and work effort. Reminds me of Jessica Ainscough. Wellness warrior. Holistic health coach. Also Jessica Ainscough: deceased. Jessica was a gorgeous, smart young woman who was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer. Vulnerable and not wanting to have her arm amputated at the shoulder (which would have saved her life), she fell for Gerson Therapy, and then began to peddle it to others, including her mother. Jessica turned her "survival" story into alternate medicine advocacy, health coaching, business coaching and also published a bestselling book. When she finally turned to medicine, it was too late. Jessica's cancer killed her. Her mother followed in Jessica's footsteps and went down the path of Gerson and alternate medicine. She too succumbed to (breast) cancer after refusing proven, conventional medical treatment. I think the idea of health coaching is sound, if done correctly. Being an accountability partner, friend and motivator who helps you follow the advice of your actual medical professionals, could be a great help. Unfortunately, that's not what they do, and the consequences can be deadly.

It's honestly nice to see what people actually think of Jasmine Lipska here since she deletes basically any "negative" comment on her channel. I used to watch her videos when her content focused mainly on language and traveling but she started to be a little off in a way after moving to Bali and started dating her boyfriend. Now, she's basically scamming the heck out of her faithful followers and has an obsession with teaching anything that she's interested in.

@@DavoWillo yeah, she has some sort of obsession with that. I think she said to change the story of your childhood or something like that. But yeah, she’s getting sketchier. If you’ve seen her Instagram, she actually posted about Anna on her story. I don’t think she mentioned her name though
@kuronekochan16194 жыл бұрын
@@user-ck9ei6re2x It’s nice to hear that you don’t feel pressured to buy things from her but I think the problem is that for the programs she does charge are very expensive for someone who isn’t qualified to teach these things. I honestly don’t think she would be called out as much if she only posts these things on Instagram and either charges less or instead of being a life coach, maybe do free discussion group sessions or something like that but she legit charges more than some health providers do and from what I’ve heard, a lot of these are things you can find anywhere online. Also, there is a possibility that she might actually end up hurting one of her clients more than helping them because of not having an actual education and overall lack of experience.

So happy to have found your channel, this video was so on point. I used to work as a health coach and it made me SO angry when people acted like as a health coach could replace a doctor. THAT IS LITERALLY NOT THE POINT. Sadly, it seems like a lot of under qualified people have overwhelmed the coaching industry and look at their program as the perfect solution to any health struggles. In reality coaches should work alongside medical professionals to help their clients stick with their goals. As always, this video was so well done, thank you Anna!

Excellent video. I coach artist 1-on-1 but I don’t call myself an artist “coach”. Nowadays everyone is a coach! There is one thing though about being “qualified”: having a certification doesn’t mean you have to shout it out loud. Claiming to be certified doesn’t mean he/she is actually qualified. Nowadays even the most prestigious title is a commodity. I have 5 degrees from top-ranked universities, but I almost never mention them because they might distance people. Especially artists who didn’t go to art school tend to separate themselves from the ones who did. Overall education/certification is not the key to a successful mentorship.

I adored Jasmine so much but she has changed in a negative way ever since she got with her boyfriend. She believes that she's blessed to have met him, but I doubt that. I was quite shocked when she talked about 'pull out method' for contraception when there are tons of teenage girls who look up to her. Neither is it safe nor for making sex less taboo. And she could've just accepted if any of she said can sound misleading instead of panting a picture as if hatred comes after her. Geez i miss the old jasmine. (or has she always been like that?)

There are no “secrets” but the different with courses and coaching is who you are learning from. I personally sell marketing courses, and people buy them because they know I’m an expert and want to learn from ME. Also; when someone makes an investment it means they are far more likely to actually finish a course and implement it especially with the support. Anyone could learn to draw on KZbin for example, but people pay to go to Art college or on an Art course for more intensive and effective learning. The majority of cheap courses on platforms like Udemy for example never get finished. If you pay £500 for a course you’re much more likely to finish it. But the issue of lack of qualifications is a real one. I have actual qualifications and have been a specialist for over 8 years. A lot of these “coaches” really don’t have much experience in what they are teaching at all.

I thought the thumbnail was an ad and nearly didn't click on it 😂 I trained as a counsellor and we were taught that you really can't tell people how to be, just help them to figure out for themselves what works for them personally. Like you said, otherwise it doesn't stick.

I used a life coach this year to support myself through a difficult change. it was a really positive experience. I selected somebody who had qualifications and a good amount of past experience (we're talking decades!). I'd never, ever give money to a influencer-turned-coach unless they'd significantly invested in their training and qualifications from actual training centres or university qualifications, It really upsets me - I've studied psychology and counselling, I am well aware of the limitations and ethical guidelines required to practice and it is quite disturbing to see these influencers continue on in this way with little regard for the impact that it might have on their followers/clients.

Yessssssss this is the video I've been looking for. Googling about my doubts on life coaches. My problem with this whole coach thing is not only the lack of certifications but like young people, people younger than me I'm 28, saying they're life coaches. And I'm like what life did you have because I was forced to work under the table starting when I was 9. At 13 I've already been dealing with my own bills. My parents are immigrants and don't speak English, so I've played translator all my life. But I also got to live up my life and explore. I've been traveling out of the country on my own alone since I was 16. I would never impose myself and be like, "I'm a life coach!" When I still have more to learn and more to live. Instead I'm following the path of trying to go to grad school to study my studies and research further. If I ever considered being a coach id be older than i am now and it would be niched with certifications, degrees, thesis papers, research papers, stuff that proves I'm an expert in it. Also these young people whose audience is people their age or younger and idk about you but when I was younger and a college student i was broke. Charging that much to a young audience is a huge red flag to me. I'm sure there are good coaches out there but this sudden boom on everyone being a coach is just ....

I used to admire one person so much, she was like my personal hero. She started with this "coaching" thing and at first I thought she was amazing for wanting to help people by sharing her story of success, since I was looking at her through my pink colour glasses I didn't question much (and also I was a teenager with not much knowledge about the world). At the beginning everything was pretty normal, things like "follow your dreams" and "don't get too attached to the material world" sounded normal and a good way to live life, I have to admit I follow those things to some extent...the problem was that this was only the cover and her true colours showed in the most nasty way. She started fights between people, called people names and even targeted at some point my self-stem that at that time was at pretty low point. While she was preaching that she achieved her goals and gave up a well paid job she never mentioned all the people that was behind her helping her boat not to sink, she mentioned how much she suffered not being understood by her family but that was never true. Then she became more extreme and preached detachment of the material things and when she started doing coaching in a more professional way she gave advices on that, but at the same time she was charging insane amounts of money because she didn't want to give away the lifestyle she had when she was a full-time employee. When I started to look all these tiny things that were so hypocritical from her I suddenly saw the whole picture on how she was just a greedy, wanna be person which didn't care about the other but herself. I decided to just cut my links to her and even though some people in my circle find it harsh or bad, she did so much harm that the "good deeds" are no longer there. What I find annoying about this new "coaching wave" is that if I say enough and just cut communication I am being resentful and mean but if they (the coaches) do it then I have to be the one that needs help because for some reason they are the ultimate enlighten people. No, fuck that logic...

I haven't finished watching your video yet but I am loving EVERYTHING you are saying. I started my KZbin channel to do some of what these influencers are doing and I am studying social work to become a therapist. I've actually considered starting a coaching program, but at the end of the day it feels icky to be in competition with people who are predatory in the business especially when I believe that most "self-help" coaches don't do anything that an individual can't do to help themselves with free resources like you mention. Expertise is the downfall of this business. A real, certified coach or therapist would have the training to know that a one-size fits all coaching program won't work for most people's individual circumstances.

So I love this video and thank you for calling all of this out! I have an MBA and I do mentoring + other stuff! Multiple income sources ftw. But some people do love coaching and they are so good at it. And they need to make money, too. People spend a lot of money on things they don’t need (that aren’t coaching or courses etc.) from big and small companies. If someone really wants something, they’ll spend the money on it. Honestly though, coaches want to make money, too. I think there are less problems with these coaches and bigger problems with bigger corporations. I applaud entrepreneurs but at the same time, it does hurt someone like me (who spent so much time and money getting an MBA) versus someone who has no qualifications, coaching/mentoring the same thing or similar.

Great video and you touch on some really important topics. Coaching in its purest form isn't advising. So if anyone is calling themselves a coach and they're selling an online course where you're unlikely to spend any one-to-one time with them, then they're not actually a coach at all. Coaches that have trained at credible schools typically be non-directive and use reflective work and questioning to help clients gain clarity on what their goals are and how to get there. Some coaches will also offer some mentoring and giving advice too, however, if it's purely advising or a course then they're a mentor or a trainer. Our additional recommendations would be to not fall for time scarcity, take your time to make a decision. If a coach is using high-pressure sales tactics then walk away. And finally, make sure their testimonials are from a trusted source. We scanned 1000+ coach websites and noticed a plethora of testimonials all written by the same person.

@@just1desi There are VERY good reasons why elders are the most respected people in MOST cultures. I absolutely agree that a lot of them charge too much, but a lot of the things that are iffy to you or others are literally just marketing and sales tactics. Enough free content out there to be aware of how these work and not fall for the ones that are mad to scam you out of money. I also think one can be an expert in something without having a certificate, since those, just like school of any kind, don't make you qualified either since every course or school that gives out these certificates teach stuff differently. People have to do their own research on what they pay someone money for. It's like buying molded fruit and getting mad at anyone but yourself for not checking. And yes, there are totally things out there for free, but it absolutely makes a difference how it is made compact, organized and explained well by someone. There are people that talk a lot around the topic and there are people that go right to the core of it. Either works for different people. I never paid for a coach, but I can definitely say that packaging and wording is way more important than certificates. Someone can have an MBA and still be a shitty business coach. But honestly? If someone wants to throw 2k at someone without doing research on the person and the results, let them make the mistake. I do absolutely think health coaches and mindset coaches should put disclaimers though. Playing with health and mental health is not fun and telling people you don't have a degree in that should definitely be a requirement. It's odd that it isn't already. If I was a coach I'd always say that it doesn't replace therapy or doctors! That last part made me mad, not gonna lie 🙃 Imagine telling a terminally ill person to not get professional help, wtf.

I just wanted to put it out there that I agree with you in a vague sense. I think that certification does add to a person's credibility in the field they have chosen to work in. BUT I would disagree with you that experience alone does not qualify someone to perform in their chosen field as well, if not better than someone who is "certified". I personally have known many people in many different trades, skilled labor, businesses that perform their job/service exponentially better than others who are "certified". Not saying that certification isn't imperative in certain fields, BUT experience and time put in really makes a HUGE difference in their abilities/skills/knowledge/wisdom around their field of work. I personally have no certification in my current field of work (one is not required) and I have corrected/outperformed many before me that were "certified". I appreciate your opinion and love your channel! Keep up the great work! Just had to say my piece! :)
