Kind of weird to see a hit man come across as a regular guy. In the end I guess they are just people....people I would not want to piss-off, but still just people.

they are people that own businesses and those businesses happen to be mostly half illegal and instead of firing people that are hurting their business, they kill em.

First of all, Cullotta was never "made". Tony Spilotro could not have made him because he was no boss. He was actually under Spilotro's wing. That's why if you hear Frank talk about the times when there was issues, Tony would go in and speak for him. That's the reason Tony and his brother Michael were killed in the movie Casino, because they sent for them and told Tony his brother was gonna get "made" and so they came back to Chicago and got killed.
@robertmassatelli2638
@robertmassatelli2638 3 жыл бұрын
@BidenCheatedAndBrokeHisAnkle 123 I'll answer that in one statement. TRUE FACT: In the movie Casino noticed how Joe Pesci saw two gangsters getting ready to "con" the hotel with bogus checks. The scene where they start the "go-a-round" with " I thought he was here and Pesci goes he was, but he left. I think he went across the street". The gangsters repeated "oh, he went across the street". That's respect! When your "with somebody" your place is "respected" and when your not "with somebody" it's "open territory" for all. Gianni Russo restaurant was closed down because it had "organized crime affiliations" or "mob ties" in it. They used he spot to do their "dirt". You could look that up.
@histguy101

What difference does it make if he "made." It's really not known how that worked in Chicago. There's people who say Jackie D'Amico was never made, yet he rose to one of the Consiglieres, and the outfit had non-Italians in the upper echelons, and conflicting stories on whether Chicago used initiation ceremonies or not. I think the one person to claim they did was the son in Family secrets, who himself wasn't made. Tony was a street boss in Vegas. He answered to Joey Aiuppa according to the FBI, meaning he wasn't under one of the other street bosses in Chicago, but directly under the top boss. In chicago, there were only 5 or 6 official Capos at one time, and each had their own Lieutenant/Underboss/successor, and ruled over their own territory and had their own little family. Then the outfit had satellite territories where they sent high ranking soldiers to run as a street boss/de facto capo. Tony had Las Vegas and California. He was a big shot. Whatever Frank was, he was trusted enough to meet with bosses like Joe Lombardo and Joey Aiuppa(unless he's just lying about everything in his book, which is possible). He was also Sicilian, was suspected of being a full member of the outfit going back to the 60s, and had friendships with several guys going back to his childhood.

@@histguy101 only a Boss could have "made" a person, make a big difference. Proof is how was Tony lured back to Chicago? with the false pretenses that his brother was going to be "made" that's how they were able to kill them both.
@histguy101
@histguy101 3 жыл бұрын
@@robertmassatelli2638 I'm just saying it doesn't really matter if he was made. He was still with/in/working for the mob, and we don't know for sure what his deal was. Being a made guy isn't a requirement to being a gangster/mobster/wiseguy/whatever he was claiming to be in this video. The year that the Spilotro brothers were killed, one of the top bosses of the outfit was Gus Alex, a Greek, who we can assume wasn't "made."
