After a long tough hike at Red Rock Canyon in Las Vegas, we needed to rejuvenate with a buffet. But now just any buffet, we're heading the the famous Sterling Brunch Buffet at Bally's. Possibly the Best Vegas Buffet experience I've ever had -- or at least the most Expensive Vegas Buffet!
After seeing this buffet featured on WORTH IT, I have been waiting to try this buffet for a long time --in fact, there's a 2 - 3 month waiting list! Was it worth the way? You'll need to see to find out.
With unlimited champagne, caviar, lobster, and fillet mignon, the luxurious dished delivers on its promise of infinite indulgence. All dishes were prepared perfectly and can be a showcase on their own. No unfinished items were ever left on my plate. Servers were gracious and friendly, making diners feel at comfort and ease
But then, there comes the price. At about $110 USD, this is the most expensive buffet on Vegas. Is it worth it? --You bet!
This is an unforgettable experience of a lifetime that lets you experience the decadence and spirit of Vegas in its fullest. Considering it's similar to the cost of a show, this is a small price to pay for a meal of a lifetime. Definitely a must try -- save up for it.

I've gone there every year for the last 4 years. The price when I went there in January 2018 was $105+taxes+tip. Your video mentions that it is $95. Did they decrease the price? Not sure if you're aware of this but you can order certain things from the menu which is included in the buffet like Lobster Benedict. If you are a small party, you can eat at the bar (same price and same options) and you don't need a reservation. However, to eat at the bar, you will need to arrive there early since at 9:30am, all the seats at the bar are already taken and there is a wait for bar seats.

Hello Jim AP! Thank you for the great comment -- I'll pin this for the great tip! I didn't realize you can order off the menu!!!! Darn -- looks like another visit is required. Also, apologies for the incorrect pricing on the video (I've updated it in the description). Basically, I mentioned the price before getting the bill...which turned out to be around $110 (not including tip)... Thank you again!

We love the Sterling Buffet, the signature omelette is incredible. Totally worth the price. We make our reservations when we are talking about taking a trip from YYC and plan around the buffet, and the french toast, wow! so delicious. Will be there soon. You should also show the rooms your staying in since your travelling to Vegas. We try to stay somewhere different every time we go.

Hi Krista, even though the price is high, I totally agree it's worth every penny. It's quite over the top... I'm just kicking myself because we didn't realize there was an a la carte menu that was also part of the buffet -- oh well, will just need to go next time. Thanks also for the suggestion about the hotel stays -- good thought, but I'm usually on a budget (either for my personal travel or on a conference for work) so the hotel rooms are nothing special. But out of curiosity, which hotel would you suggest?

You know the reward cards are so worth it. We aren't big gamblers, like maybe 50.00 but we do play the online games and have earned free nights. My personal favorite hotel which is further down the strip is the Venetian/Palazzo. I didn't know about the a la carte menu our first trip. It was reading on the internet that I realized Sterling offered even more. Not everyone is staying at the Sky Lofts, but people are also looking for affordable rooms. I always wait for a deal.

You are doing a very good job. Very watchable. You have an amazing rapport with the workers and others around you. The music is well chosen though a little loud. The close-ups need to be more in focus. Could use more eating and reactions to food. Finally, some branding would be helpful, such as a standard opening and closing, a catch-phrase or two. And you're on your way to 100k followers and making some actual money (and writing-off expenses). Many will follow you.

Ahh YES Jimmy! Here's a few tips. They only have a few spots (15 or so) at the bar that is first come first serve. The buffet starts at 9:30am on the Sunday so if your group of 3 show up around 8:30am - 8:45am, you stand a good chance of getting the seats at the bar. Also, I missed a few things in the video as well -- they have an a la carte menu that's part of the buffet that I completely missed -- special dishes like Lobster eggs benny etc, a Caesars bar.. If you do get a chance to go, don't miss those like I did... Good luck!

I would have definitely tried the Lobster Ravioli ***I had one friend from work go there last year and he said they were "To die for"!!!*** P.S. He also said to AVOID the seafood omelettes as they fill you up (and are PROMOTED by the staff there!!) you really want to concentrate on the big-$$$ items.... P.P.S. If you want to avoid having to TIP as well, just say NO to the Champagne as they will expect a substantial handout at the end.

Thanks TheSpritz0! It was certainly an over the top experience. Lobster ravioli as definitely amazing! Yeah, the omelette was okay but still very good -- and good for the video :-) While I said it was $90 on the video, when the bill came, it was around $110 without tip. But even at that price, I can totally see how one could get their value from this buffet. Those lobster tails were huge and the caviar was amazing - just those along and it would easily made up for the cost of the buffet -- especially the way I eat ;-) Thanks again!

Why are ya'll being so cheap...tip the wait staff like you would any buffet and then add the multiplier...you pay over 100 for the food...make sure those that serve it are taken care of. They have to make a living too. Imagine if you worked there and could not afford you ever eat there...
@TheSpritz0
@TheSpritz0 6 жыл бұрын
I'll answer your question EVEN though I find it disrespectful since I already explained I do not drink alcohol hence do not need "wine service", I get my own food at the buffet, and get my own SODA POP at the dispenser, or drink water at the table. I DO NOT tip the wait staff if I have not used their services, and at this buffet their function is pouring champagne or wine, they do not "serve you food" like you stated & not the diet pepsi I get myself at the end of the buffet counter. Do YOU randomly tip someone on the street for wearing a uniform???

I guess the plates wash and remove themselves...I guess the trash on the floor picks itself up off the floor...I guess those cups you use clean themselves...it is a well oiled machine that needs all its parts...the wait staff is part if it and should be compensated even if you don't drink the wine.
@TheSpritz0
@TheSpritz0 6 жыл бұрын
Hey, bring me the dishwasher I'll tip him but I'm NOT NOT NOT going to tip a non-functioning "wait staff" if I do not use their services. Oh yeah, and I eat VERY cleanly & carefully and do not put any trash on the ground like pigs I've seen, however I have seen separate "dish clearers" and I'd tip them if they were alone!!! END of my comments.

Wow! 6 months! I managed to get a reservation for 1 (about 2 months prior) and decided to take it as it was the only thing available. With my fried Dave coming, I figured he can just show up and see if they would accommodate him as well -- and they did! Actually, if there's not too many people, they have about 15 spots at the bar where you can get a seat (first come first serve). You'll probably need to arrive by 8:30am for a chance to get a seat though.... Good luck :-)

Thanks so much PZ :-) I must say, it was expensive (and I misspoke about the cost on the video -- but corrected in the comments). Great video. We just went in April 2019, the price is now $135 per person. I’ll never go again. Sorry, but $135 is just to much. At $100, it was ok, but at $135, tax and tip it’s over $300 for a party of 2. Vegas is starting to price themselves out of the place to go. Just this past month, all MGM resorts charge a $45 “something fee” on top of parking, taxes, and the room charge. So if you get a great room rate, plan on doubling that. I’ve lived here for 16 years now, at first it was great, now, it stinks.

Hey Tim, glad your coming back. Vegas will alway be a destination, no doubt, it’s just getting out of control with certain prices. Just a quick tip. On Fridays at the Silverton Casino, just off the strip on Blue Diamond, they offer a seafood buffet with lobster being the star, baked stuffed tail or steamed tales, lobster Mac & cheese, lobster ravioli, lobster tacos, as well as a cold bar with clams, oysters, lobster claws, with all the fixings. It’s not going to be like the big $ strip buffets, big it’s perfect for a seafood and lobster lover. Price is $37.99 per with card, no players card is $39.99. I’m not a drinker, so I’m not sure about booze included, I do know soft drinks and other drinks included. Wait, now that I think wine and beer as well as solo drinks included. It’s a nice buffet and well worth the price. The wait is long, it starts at 3pm, so get there at 2 pm if your want first seating. We went last night and it’s always spot on. I found out about it through KZbin, a guy runs a page here call “everything Vegas”, he just goes around and shows you food as well as other places in Las Vegas to check out. Getting back to the Silverton, we’ve been there 3 times this summer and it’s always been very good. Ok my friend, just letting you know. Have a great trip when you come back

Agree with Nonduality you are doing a great job with your videos been watching them last few weeks, just saw the one from the Philippines. Do you have a no champagne option for a reduced price at the Sterling? My parents ate at the first buffet in Las Vegas called the Chuck Wagon at the El Rancho Vegas, price 1 dollar, that was in 1951. My first Las Vegas trip was 1952, I was 4. Sterling has been around many years, I think the first time I heard about it the price was 25 dollars. Very good quality. Can you get some ice cream at the end? Thanks again Tim, Wynn Wynn

Thanks Wynn Wynn 🙂. I don't think they have a non champagne option. Yeah, Vegas just isn't the same...even a few years back, I recall that most of the places on the strip was much more affordable. But the Sterling buffet is quite an amazing one! Actually, they didn't have icecream! At least nothing on the buffet stations... I'd bet a dollar to a doughnut that if I'd ask the server, she might accomodate.🙂
