Simple and good, also works with image tracking over the head (there maybe some rough patches but you can manually fix it). Thanks, other youtubers don't explain this at all!

I tried following the steps over and over and over again but it always says tracking failed or failed to get frame data. any help?

Did you merge any solids with your text or it like text cut off?

Parking here. Nice tutorial. Any chance u got a video guide how to make a video by using pictures only? Some documentaries video only using pictures but they add few effect like zoom in zoom out, move picture from left to right, right to left, etc etc etc. Can you make one that look simple and professional (ofc with vegas pro)? Yeh it's pretty simple to do it's mostly just using the event pan/crop I'll see after I've done the current videos

Can you do a motion blur motion tracking video? Nobody else's videos for it work in my VEGAS PRO 18

I have a drone shot where the drone is doing a slow rotation around a building while moving further away. Is there a way to anchor the text over the roof, and have it keep facing the direction its facing in the first second of the video?

Yeh you can, you'd just need to set the tracking to scale, rotation and position but the 3d tracking isn't the best so manually tracking is better or using plugins

uh it's like my image doesn't even motion track the videos just stay in that position although i added motion tracking

I have done click for click what every guide says to do to insanity. Contacting Vegas Support this is time consuming considering I followed Sony's instructions first. Did you figure it out?

@@rahman5242 I eventually got mine working when I tried to drag the motion media directly onto the text in the timeline. Not sure why adding through the drop menu did not work for me but it didn't

When I Select Motion Track in a forward direction, it says: Low track count.

Resolved that but now my image squeezes inside the mask area as the motion plays. Is there any way i can keep the mask area on the same scale throughout?

Hey man Can you help me with motion tracking? Lol. I'm trying to insert this chromakey scene onto another video as a background, but i want the chroma key video's camera movement to match the second video track with motion tracking so it looks natural.. if that makes sense

@@ShrimpsSteele yeh i get you and unfortunately Vegas Pro only has the basic tracking at the moment so there's no options for editing the camera moment :/

I wonder why majority of people dont use actual live footage and opt for gaming footage. The entire video is about Vegas Pro 18 so why use some crap animation like that to track. Cant some normal video clip be used ?

Any clip can be used and yes I totally get you and it's because most of the time ppl use gameplay because it's easier to record and saves time from searching for copyright free clips. Also I wanted to do the effect where it's similar to a game where their name is displayed above their head as an example but yeh any clip works. It would of been smoother with actual 60fps footage but next time I'll use something better

@@mgr5550 Yeh will do, my personal favorite website is Pexels.com they have high resolution photos and videos that you can use for free commercially so it's all good aha
