The latest sony vegas pro 20 update screwed me up because now when I open an AMV project, it shows “vegas is taking longer than usual” with one option stating “terminate vegas”? Before it just allowed me to click “wait for it to open” wtf

Vegas Pro 22 crashes and freezes for me when Text Based Editing. Trying to take out the deadspace and when I click the time stamp it freezes and does nothing.

Unselecting the GFX card does fix many bugs/crashes.. but makes rendering extremely slow.

Hi Alex, I want to upgrade to an RTX 4080 for faster rendering and to run effects more smoothly. You recommend to turn off the GPU. So I was thinking what's the meaning of having a more powerful gpu?

it doesnt matter if u have that high of a gpu, just use it ittl actually be beneficial

Thanks Alex for all your tips, you have helped me a lot. I can't believe that vegas still crashes with ver 20.411 I'm so frustrated but love the interface! I don't understand why you disable the video card as this is the number cruncher I thought. Apparently Ver 21 is is a supposed to be much better. The kicker for me is I just purchased 20.411 lol. Only information about RAM saved me. I just didn't know, how many I can use. Have 32 gb, but set only 3 gb - its have effect in vegas 15, but in 20 doesnt. Set to 16 gb - freezes are gone.

Hey Alex do you have a solution for importing mp4 files that don't show both audio tracks? I have obs set and works fine on vegas 14 but vegas 20 makes 2 tracks one track altogether.

I don't know how to fix this right away, but if 2 tracks are made in VEGAS Pro 20, then you might want to delete any excess audio input tracks in OBS.
